Sorry but you talk utter crap, i know your trying to stick up for PES but seriously take of your fanboy specs, claiming to have played Fifa 09 to add weight to your argument, and then claiming you achieved a skill level of 99, well your by far the best player on any console considering the players at the top of the leaderboard are only on skill level 40+ no one has even managed to reach 50 yet, except you of course.
I came across this forum as i was looking for information regarding the PES demo, as even though i like the Fifa 10 demo, i'll download the PES demo when released and if i'm impressed i will buy the game. I then stumbled across this thread and jeez some of the fanboys are amazing anyone would think you have shares in Konami.
On a final note regarding Fifa 10 it is pretty much the same engine as Fifa 09 with added animation 360 dribbling, improved manager mode and thankfully they have got rid of the bugs such as scoring from kick off. However with EA only making slight improvements to gameplay this is Konami's big chance to claw some ground back in which they lost due to PES 08 and 09 being really poor IMO, and if they manage to create a better game then EA then i will buy PES 2010 this year.
Be good if people could cut out the bullshit and discuss the good and bad points of both games without resorting to complete and utter lies like the poster i've just pointed out.

Very true, just dont understand how people can have such an allegiance to a game company, i'll play both demo's and decide upon which one will get my hard earned money, and maybe just maybe buy them both. people should stick to facts and debate the merits of both games honestly and openly without spouting rubbish like "i achieved skill level 99" in which no one has managed yet on the game in question to try and add weight to a fanboy arguement.

another example of how shit this forum has become . When you lot are trying to prove you're points your helping to prove mine which is fifa 10 is in another league compared to pes 10. It is painfully obvious that you will say anything to back up your point that pes is better when you know that it isnt. If you preferred pes on the ps2 then you will prefer fifa if you take the time to get used to it. Why did we love pes on the ps2, because it was a simulation and it felt like football . I dont want to start petty arguments but can you honestly say pes is a better sim than fifa. and for people who say they win 3 nil all the time you have obviously never played the game with manual controls on legendary, i would put my life on that. I still care about pes which is why i get into these pathetic squarells with people who know fuck all about football games. Pes is a great game but it is embarrassingly far behind fifa.
Jeez - Find a medal for this guy. People are allowed to give their opinion - which they do regarding pes in most of the forums. And since this IS a pes fansite.. Do i have to say more?

1 of my best friends who has played pro for aslong as i can remember is getting fifa this year...i mind when i played fifa and he used to slag me for playing it
i reckon he has had enough of the fact Konami still play on the same engine. fifa have many more teams and leagues, plus fifa's " little things " look the part
he stuck with pro during the lag 08 and the polished 08 version for 09.
i mind when i showed him the sliders for the new pes2010 he was like " thats too far ". maybe that has something to do with it
he plays it on ps3 aswel... alreadgy got a lump in my throat thinking there won't be anymore drunken/sober pro nights in his again
if konami fuck this year up, its lights out. My mate was a serious pes fan from the start. so if konami cant hold onto their more than loyal fans, what are the odds they'll breed a new age of loyal fans
as for me tho, i can wait for the new game. i wont be on missions trying to get it from g-force a couplr days early for an extra tenner, i'll be cool , calm and collected bout it

I agree totally, i don't know what it is with fifa but for me as soon as i start playing it i am put off because it seems like your players are running in treacle, it's just to sluggish for me.
It's been like this for the last few fifa games. Pes on the other hand just feels more like football, you can knock the ball about in midfield and wait for that killer pass to one of your forwards, it's great stuff, and will be even better when the keepers and response time are sorted.
played the new pro demo last night, and bar a few glitches as many have pointed out (keepers not great, response could be a bit better, and some robotic movements which have always been there) i think this is a big improvement from pes 09.
One of the things i believe pro to be far superior over fifa is the A.I. I've played the fifa 10 demo this year, and it didn't take long before it was a walk in the park to beat the a.i on world class. however top class on pes is still a bit of a challange.
among other things, i will be sticking with pro this year.
one last thing; i have been reading some comments from people like this 'Techskill', who really need to go and get a life. It appears for people like him, the only enjoyment they get out of their life is coming onto a pes forum and trying to start 'useless pathetic banter' and arguments because he has NOTHING else to do. take note techskill. As for your last post techskill, once again you've proved your the embarrassment mate.

Yep just checked your gamertag on EAsports world and you are indeed talking bullshit, unless of course you've had a terrible run and lost loads of points that is.
Muzza798 skill points 2496 now you may have lost a few points here and there but roughly that will give you a skill level of around 18, as you are level 18 when you reach 2400 points and to level up to level 19 you need 2600, you may have lost a few games here and there but i'd say your level is around that mark.
Which is some way of from the level 99 you quoted and to be honest i didn't really need to check to see that as, no one i mean no one has achieved level 99, although i suspect some of the leaderboard boosters must be getting mighty close.
On the other hand it does show that you've played the game so if your opinion is that PES is better than FIFA then i respect your opinion as you've played enough of FIFA to have a valid opinion. However i beg to differ but it horses for courses.

Quite agree with you there. It's funny to see how all the old members (members who joined before and up until 2007) has kind of switched sides... Back then there was no question about it: PES was the "simulation" of the game and FIFA was all arcade and an utter sprint-fest. I personally feel that the tables has turned - and by the looks of it, so does almost all the old hardcore fans who stuck with PES since the early PS1 days.
The "evolution" in Konami/PES has turned into a deadlock. From the demo there are still animations that feels like I remember seeing back in ISS Pro Evolution Soccer on the PS1 for crying out loud!!?!? Konami were lightyears ahead of FIFA! Why the hell did they fall asleep?!
I know we've only tried a demo so far - but I personally can't see Konami fixing THAT much in such a short time.
I'll take my hats off and give a full apology to the entire forum, if Konami delivers a game this october that'll totally blow us away. But right now I can't see it coming. Hell the demo isn't even that different from the demo I played of PES '09 last year! (I can only speak of the demo - because I didn't bother to buy that crap last year...).

I dont really play BAP, so i'm not sure what the 99 is, but the easiest way to find your skill level is to go into the lobbies, use L1 or LB on Xbox and filter to show players skill levels and yours will be displayed along with all the other players. I'm glad we cleared that up, i'd also like to take this opportunity to apologise to you, as like i said previously you've played over 500 games of FIFA 09 online and that is more than enough to have a valid opinion of FIFA and your quite rightly in a position to compare both titles.
In my defence though, when i saw the skill level of 99 it was so wide of the mark i had to question if you'd actually played the game, but it was just a simple misunderstanding.

I am now officially one of those members who have made the change. I really hope Konami can sort it out, or even some other publisher, but there's just no contest now. Konami should take a few years out. Never thought I'd live to see the day that PES has better graphics and FIFA has better gameplay.
