You weren't at your best, some of those shots you were pulling off were quite hilarious to be honest haha. Mind you, saying that, I couldn't do any better; the only way I could score was to steal your goal from that set-piece :lol:
On the other hand, I pulled off a couple slide tackles which I were proud about, usually they result in a foul, but generally I was timing them right.
I thought Gin was good as ANY.

That 4-3 loss when we were 3-1 up pissed me right off. I think Gin made a mistake in throwing it out and giving them the second goal, because they didn't look like scoring at all before that. But shit happens.
Scored some nice goals though last night, especially the volley in that match.

It's the first time my player has ever tried an overhead kick and I doubt he will ever try it again unfortunately. The EA servers seem a bit odd lately as I was kicked off twice last night and just gave up after the second. Sweey mentioned that he was also kicked off the server the day before and Dragonfly seems to have had a few problems too.

Yeah, plus every game we play, there always seems to be lag, making it very hard to make the right decisions with my player. Not forgetting the quitters - seems to be more than ever at the moment.
Not fun at all! EA should do something about these problems. It's a big shame as I really like Clubs this year, and don't want it spoiling once and for all. :\

I'm very sorry for leaving in the middle of that game lads, I was doing so well up-front (hat-trick) and then my dad shouts me to shovel the drive, as it was really slippy and needed doing.
I hope I didn't disrupt the way the game was going. Did we win? I remember it was very tight, and after I scored my third it was 4-3 to us with about 25 mins remaining...

We held on, I dropped behind the back 4 into a sweeper-esque role and we managed to keep them out.

Me, Original? and Del played in Room 2, I went ANY and overall I thought I did pretty well... much better at defending than passing the ball and making goal-scoring opportunities though.
Didn't concede many, but this one match we played, the other team had the ball and were running towards our penalty area, I tackled him but instead of blasting it away to safety, I regrettedly opted to try and pass it short around their players, which turned out to be a stupid idea. About 4 of their players closed our defence down and they scored.
First goal we scored in that match though was absolutely quality. This time the passing was spot-on.
First chance of the game, about 3 minutes gone, I played the ball around quickly and sharply, gave it to delboy, who fed one of my players I was controlling as ANY down the wing, I crossed it in and it couldn't have fell to Original?'s feet any better. He turned nicely, and finished it off.
I don't mind playing as ANY, it can be a right cow to control the players well though.
I won't be on the PS3 tonight, I should be free for some games this afternoon though, if anyone's up for it give me a shout. :thumbsup:
