Seems there is much more rant than last year even. Back then the game at least had some positive feedback

I hated it with all my heart last year so let's see what my reactions are this year. Do we still have the option to import our own photos in the edit mode?

This year is better than last year. Dont know about the pic editing question . But if you hated it last year you will probably hate it this year.

Fifa and Pes are both shit. I have always bought PES but that won't be the case next year. Muzza, Konami must love having fanboys like you onboard, and all that bullshit about moving into a new building (hahahaha) and development team blah blah blah. That only adds to the amount of annoyance and anger people will feel when they buy another sub-par offering from Konami when they thought that the afore mentioned points will go a long way to making the next game better..anyone believing this is a tool anyway. Im not a faboy. im optimistic. Ive been massively disappointed for the past 3 years but they are obviously capable of making great games and its only a matter of time before they reach those highs again.

All my friends know I like FIFA. I tell them why I prefer it to PES, and I also play it online on the 10 v 10 mode from time to time if my internet decides to work.

As for your pun, with all these 'new' features being implemented into PES, I'd like to point out that you'd be more accurate if you replaced the 'FIFA' with 'PES' in your quote.

Also, before the FIFAfanboy card is played, I'd like to point out that I stopped my interest in PES at about the same time Konami stopped their interest in churning out quality football games, which by my accounts was PES6 for the 360 and PS3.

Anyone who thinks FIFA 10 is better than PES 10 is really lacking in insight IMHO.

I have written at length on the FIFA 10 forums about the problems with FIFA 10 which are far more than cosmetic unlike PES 10. The AI, player movement, the tackling system, the shooting system, and most crucially of all the passing system in FIFA 10 are all horribly broken:lol:

I have been playing only PES since around 2003 since it is by far the most realistic series of football games that has ever been made and I think it is being unfairly criticised to a large extent this year. The reviewing press haven't a clue what they are talking about and PES 10 is vastly superior to FIFA in ball physics, tactical realism, passing and shooting systems, and player individuality. The only area where it is slightly lacking is in number of basic animations (although if you play it well it looks much better) and sound effects but that can be easily remedied.

reading this was rather interesting.

First of all to all the posters saying 'if you stand up for this game you deserve a slap in the face' and any comments along those lines. Grow up. Its a game, if you dont like it, dont play it and trade it in. You're welcome to your opinion but telling people what to think is immature and childish.

Secondly in my overall opinion i think pes is improving in some ways year by year. In other ways it is let down and yes everygame has its upsides and downsides. Imo i thought pes2008 was better then pes6 and well pes2010 better then them both. The game as a whole has good graphics, highly enjoyable and well laid out. There are some downsides mainly with the ai and well that for me at times can get frustrating with the poor ai teams, refs etc but it doesnt stop the enjoyment of the game.

I have also played fifa 2009 and 2010. I find both of them inferior to pes, with fifa just touching up the game each year and keeping the 'if it aint broke dont fix it' style. I chose pes cos it played better, if i wanted a game which was the 'brand' and had all the teams with official kits and stadiums etc i would choose fifa.

I think konami can take one or two ideas from fifa, ie the referees and the decisions in fifa are well done, playing advantage, not giving free kicks when you sneeze at a player etc etc and also i find taking corners easier on fifa

and to cg: Atleast act with some respect and maturity and not regress down to a child namecalling and negative comments about users. As a whole this thread has valid points but your desire to piss off everyone who likes the game by being immature lessens your comments imo

friendly debate and discussion about how good or bad the game is useful but atleast try keep it on topic and not aim abuse at certain members

I agree people only play fifa coz its licensed ok i like fifa but not as much as pes pes are very accurate with licenses fifa rushes it too much thats why theres always kit errors because of it the shooting on fifa is rubbish compare to pes because it looks realisitc if u think pes is rubbish then go off and talk about it on fifa forum not a pes forum u supposed to stick up 4 pes in a pes forum not fifa

To be fair Fifa 2010 is a really good game. On my mates 42" the graphics and player models etc look stunning and sharpe. Good game, not much wrong with it but we all know pes is better. Btw pes 6 on the xbox 360 fuking shits over 08, 09 and 2010...seriously. If they just added onto this game we would be sitting pretty now. Shame they decided tag fuck the series into submission.

I doubt most people have gave FIFA the time of day to appreciate the gameplay, it takes some getting used to. If I remember correctly, this was the #1 argument about FIFA fans dissing PES, they had to give PES the time of day.

I feel players don't give FIFA a fair chance. I gave PES a fair chance when it came out for PS1 and loved it when I eventually got to grips with it, now I've given FIFA the fair chance after getting bored with PES.

I find it galling that Konami decided to team up with this place to have official suggestions and ignored many of them. With their first full development-cycle for the new game, we may see the first fruits of true improvement.

I made it as a joke to be funny, and nothing more. I personally dislike FIFA, but I don't think PES is noteworthy better this year.

tactical realism? are you having a fucking larf? Since when does the AI being able to crack your players in the back from behind and no foul being given count as 'tactical realism'? The passing is also fucked. At times it seems almost random. I can't stand PES fan boys like you. People like you are the main reason this series has gone stale and complacent. Because there are always people of limited intelligence who will buy the game no matter how bad it is. Why don't you just bend over and let Seabass do in reality what he has been doing to every PES player since PES 5 came out.

i think this years pes is brilliant yes i do have complaints about the game but the fact is they did a better job this year than last year they could listen to us more often and try and buy more licenses like wales russia ukraine and that they wont be that expensive compare to germany frnace and england and so on and so on i think pes r getting better more people buy pes the money the more money the get the more they can buy licenses

PES and FIFA should join together than we could get the joys of playing against people in the one home which is great with PES and the joy of playing online which is great with FIFA.

I mostly play mates at PES and its good but whenever im bored like now home alone and want to play it online as I dont play against the computer then I cant because its garbage. But whenever I play someone at FIFA I think its bad but playing FIFA online is fine theres no lag.

I say Konami phone and ask EA how to fix online and in return Konami can tell EA how to make FIFA more realistic on the pich then we could have 2 good games instead of none.

As you seem to be in need of some education let me help you out.

Passing in PES is organic and realistic. \\You can pass the ball as players do in real life - just compare that to Fifa brainbox.

Tackling is fine too - again play fifa to understand how when ice hockey is copied things can really go horribly wrong.
