One more thing, how many players have you got on a regular basis turning up for team PESGaming and how did you work out the positions?, I imagine there'd be a serious lack of defenders.

I don't dude but I'm seriously considering requiring one this side of 2010. Last year I remember reading in on this thread and this kind of thing is right up my street. The only thing is I'm not great at Fifa to be honest, but if I can get anywhere as good as I was at PES I'd be able to do a job for the team. :ninja:

For offline play:
bronze accomplishments - at least on amateur difficulty
silver accomplishments - at least on semi-pro difficulty
gold accomplishments - at least on world class difficulty

All as far as i know, or at least most can be done online.

i think i will train my VP up before another match, that was a nightmare, he's slower, weaker, just worse overall. Once i get to 80 overall, i will come back, it shouldnt be too long

I tried GK out on pro ranked match, i was ok, i made 2 stunning saves, but i need to be focused and eradicate those errors. Outfield it's ok to make a mistake now and again, but in goal, you get crucified, the hate mail.... lol

Like football in reality, it can be highly entertaining, infuriating, boring, exciting, etc. I think only a few of us use our headphones/mics. Hearing Original?'s moans and groans is pretty entertaining, though. Lag comes and goes. I'm lucky enough to have rarely suffered it. Obviously, the more online, the higher the chance of lag.

I think there's usually about five of us playing, on average. We usually know our positions, but you can always call one in the on screen message box. And yes, defence isn't most people's first choice. We do have some good ones, though.

And Original, I don't like criticising anyone, but just one thing - PLEASE cross as soon as possible when you have the ball in the wide positions. There's no need to fuck about trying to get inside. I don't know if you're trying to get it onto your right, cut inside and score, etc, but - and I'm just calling it how I see it - you usually end up losing the ball. I don't mind when you go on mazy runs when going towards goal, but when you're out wide you should really get a cross in, as 9 times out of 10 I'll probably score if it's anywhere near me. It's just really frustrating being your strike partner, because most of the time I can't tell what you're going to do.

Rich coming from the man who smashed a three yard open goal of the bar last night. Yes, I could get it in earlier but playing down the left I actually to whip it off my right, despite you being built like a brick shit house I don't seem to be able to find you with crosses where as I was finding Bez far easier. In future I will sprint down the wing, whip it in and if that fails... rinse and repeat.

Not my fault the game is shit, I just press shoot. You've seen me score far more difficult headers than that. We're all going to miss good chances now and then, but as long as we're making them we'll score a good amount.

I'm getting really sick of these shitty servers. I just got disconnected whilst in the middle of volleying the ball towards goal. I was pressing shoot like mad as my power bar kept going up then off until eventually I was told that connection had been lost. Then I can't even enter the room. What a load of shit.

The servers are shit, even if you manage to stay on it's lag ridden. I now have a 5mb connection and MW2 runs superbly but Fifa is still ridiculously laggy. Then there are disconnections, it's ridiculous when 50% of your team get booted in a single match! Me and Fab managed to win it 2-0, scored another free kick and yet I can't unlock the bend one in accomplishment. It's saying I'm not bending them but they certainly move to the left when I hit them. Any ideas?

When you take free-kicks, do try to put dip on it as well as swerve (i.e. pressing diagonal/up & side)? I noticed on FIFA 10 that curves only qualified if you just press side (i.e. swerve with no dip).

I usually use up on the analog stick and that counted for me as curved - might be the difficulty you're playing on? (eg. some need to be on world class?)

I'm defo ready for some club games tonight after 8pm, been working on my VP all day and I think his overall for a striker is now 86 or 84 for winger

Christ! I'm only habe about a 35% completion rate. Same as last time, to be honest, but I don't think it did me much harm then, and not much now (now I've built up a little strength, stamina and speed). I have been trying to improve my fella, although be it sporadically.

Played my first club match there - played as ANY which was definitely hard at times due to response times/other default players being shit. We got an OG in the 90th minute though, won 2-1 so far 100% record!

I've got Fifa11 for the xbox now anyways so I'll do my time and try get upto speed, it'll be hard to reach the level I imagine some players are at now because upto this year I've never entertained any of the Fifa games for longer than as few testers which I always found rubber. This years Fifa on the other hand I seem to enjoy playing. :no:

I know it's sort of cheating. But there's an easy way to gain accomplishments for your VP - it's called boosting.

I'll admit I've done this, not because I'm a sad guy with no life etc...but because I really don't have the time to play hours upon hours of offline matches on FIFA to get him good.

Anyway, the easiest way is to go to the Creation Centre & search for a team called 'BYA Booster Team' . After that just play them in friendly matches on World Class level (it's still incredibly easy, you'll probably win at least 8-0 every game)

Again, I know it's sort of cheating but it's the quickest way and made sense for me

There's a youtube video describes exactly how to do the Creation Centre part if anyone is interested.
