good for him, then he should trade it for Batman supposedly an amazing game (im not getting it as I don't have the attention to ever finish anything other than sport or racing games), and not worry about PES any longer, no point getting all heated about a fucking game far more important things to worry about

I bought Batman asylum, played for one hour and never picked up again. Something wrong with a game that you have to do by the book (or youtube guide) to finish correctly. So linear. But the first one looked absolutely spectacular and Arkham City even better. However, sports games are different everytime and will always be my love.

I don't even have the game yet, my mate does and I have luckily had the chance to play it so I could form my OWN opinion. If I had just come to this thread I may have been put off even trying it.......is that the answer?

I think you'll enjoy the game a lot more if you completely turn off all assistance - that is why your defenders are running around where your not telling them to, also why your passes are pathetic and your shots.....if I'm wrong then maybe YOU just don't like the game and should accept it and move on

I currently have passing assist on 1, I might move down to 0 in the future. However, turning off all the assists does not stop the scripting.

More routine ignorance and predictable rubbish answer. I've posted my record here and since it has improved. I can play it just fine, and my opinion is that it is a super-scripted, on rails mess; that plays like a turn based game.
The user control and therefore skill, is little to zero; konami decides what should happen and adjusts the other team accordingly.

online i generally play MLO, but the issue is the same when you get the world all star XI's until i changed my settings to only play teams close to my rating...my thing is when you play offline i find it as i said a fantastic game.

the user control is actually too good when attacking which is why it is hard to tackle people with Messi/ronaldo. In defence I have no problems although a lot of people seem to, so I won't say anything on that.
PLEASE stop stealing my coment about turn-based games when you clearly don't seem to know what one is.

i dont know what the fuss is about apart from the silly stutter run bug, its a masterpiece of a game, 100% best pes, obv a few in here havent the patience to try and learn how to play the game

Do people not think it is a piss take Konami have forgot to add 2vs2 online on the XBOX360 and it is there on the PS3 and PC? Even if you will never use it?
It's things like this that piss me off the most. Just makes no sense why it isn't there. Like changing things for no reason. Even though gameplay is the most important yes.
Random Selection Match on the PS2 version of PES6 is the single best feature of any game i have ever played. By a long way. Then they just took it out . Why? Maybe i'm the only one who actually used it.
I agree that i would like a game with as little assistance as possible but i would rather have it set to no assistance as default. I've only played the demo and at mates houses so i don't know what it's like online. Are the speed and assistance set to a default or can you select individuality? If you can select individually that is a bit sh1t as i'd rather have it everyone on the same playing field. I suppose if they want the game to sell well they need to appeal to the mass market so they have no choice but to give you the option. After all that Dappy dickwad got to number 1 somehow. I have FIFA and all the assistance options just do my head in, apart from the fact it's FIFA.
The main problem with this game in my opinion is that instead of just improving it they just seem to go from one thing to another without getting anywhere. I realise they have probably buggered up the shooting this year to try to make long range shooting more difficult, but these new air flow, plastic ball physics just look crap to me.
I haven't bought the game because it doesn't have 2vs2 online on the XBOX 360 version and i am making a stand.
Anyone can play the demo before you buy it. I very much doubt a single person wouldn't buy the game just from seeing or reading this thread.
If you don't like don't by it. If stuff annoys you about it don't buy it or wait until it goes cheaper and/or bombard that guy on twitter so they know.
I can't get my head around FIFA so i will probably end up buying it anyway if they are going to patch it, when it goes to around £20 in approximately just over a week.

Defending in PES 2011 is way too easy, and the shooting is far from dreamy. Many bad things can be said about PES12, but PES 2011 is still an inferior game.
