We scored one goal all night. Hit the post about five times if not more, saw the opposition goalkeeper make a few fantastic saves and came ridiculously close on a number of occasions.

CPU was being absolutely mental and we also had one game where both we and the opposition had white kits.

Overall, we were wank and the session was wank.

In the game where I went to ST you should have (assuming you had a chance) taken one of the attacking midfield roles. We'd spent long enough further back as the struggles continued so shaking things up was necessary.

We hit the post many times after you left as well Sweey. I can't count the amount of times the ball hit the post and trickled towards the line to then be cleared or collected by the goalkeeper.

Countless times I go to pass or shoot and my player takes an unnecessary touch and then gets tackled. Also what the fuck was going on with the ref last night - the amount of times we were being wrestled and nothing yet at one point phats ran past someone and gave away the freekick - I think he even got a yellow for it :lol:

We need to be more careful with calling and we need to play it more simply at the back but overall it's that fucking CPU and its 30 yard ball attempts whiles its facing the wrong way.

Also did anyone notice that on our corners when we cleared it would always land at the oppositions feet for a quick counter and when we were defending corners it would land at there feet just outside the 18 yard box.

And @Mak do you keep mentioning greed because in the game where you quit early I chose to shoot instead of pass?

That was was just the tipping point. You were so greedy all night, others were too. You were like O? at his worst times two. That last match I just gave up because I was constantly making runs but nobody wanted to pass. We wasn't playing as a team at all. I don't think there was any passes in the final third centrally all night.

There definitely were because when I play at ST I'm looking both to make runs and to drop in and play passes. I played O? in with a through ball over the defence in that match and that wouldn't have been the only pass.

It worked when I went up front with Barn, I was able to drop back and help provide a link between midfield and attack. But in that game, we dominated through playing nice football and retained the ball well. By hoofing it constantly, that area of our game would go.

I advise people give the 'drop in matches' a go if they haven't already. I got paired up with a few guys who seemed to be boosting: the opposition GK kept running out of his net allowing an empty net to score in. I ended up scoring 10 that game! :huh:

I do think we do better with 2 up front. Barn is a good striker, but I think he needs someone up there with him. Idealy this would be someone with pace eg Joel or Sweey. I think you work best as a centre mid, in the "Fellaini role".

That 4-2-2-2 formation (aka the formation that every Brazilian club team seems to use) works well. As did the one we used earlier in the day, which was a kind of narrow 4-3-1-2 formation.

I played with a proper selfish cunt on 'drop in' yesterday. Literally didn't pass once. And typically with these types of players, he was fucking shit. Kept giving the ball away.

In other news, I can't seem to buy a goal at the moment. Started my career brightly scoring a few goals in the first few matches. I keep getting chances. Missed a glaring header last night that was easier to score than miss!

I think 4231 works best with Sweey in the team, as he's probably the best crosser we have and does well down the wing.

That's nice to read but I'm disgusted with my crossing of late. I play the same role in a 4-2-2-2 so that doesn't matter.
