As a Celtic fan I am very disapointed that Celtic are not in PES 2017. I understand they can not get the licenses but why can they not create a glasgow green instead of celtic even if it is fake player names like they used to do?
I remember back in the day when it was ISS playing with a fake celtic and having Neil Lemon in my team, things like that in my opinion were what made PES and ISS brilliant fun.
I mean, most people do not play PES because of licenses, but I presume most people don't want to spend hours (if you are as slow as me, I bought the game last year and only just finished editing last month because I could not always be bothered doing it, but it takes away from the fun) creating a new team and transfering players from clubs or as I did with PES 2016 changed one of the other European teams to Celtic, it was a right pain.
Is it really so difficult to create a bunch of unlicensed teams?
If Fifa can create a barrell load of licensed leagues including the SPL, why can't PES create an unlicensed SPL, and unlicensed leagues of all the leagues FIFA have?
At the very least there should be an unlicensed Celtic, Celtic must be the biggest supported team (50,000 season ticket holders, tens of thousands if not more of celtic tv subscribers based all around the world and a club that is ranked in the top 10 clubs in the world for shirt sales) without an unlicensed team in PES, it is criminal as well as bad business sense.
I tried searching the site but could not see anyone previously asking this question, apologies if I have missed it. But I would love to know if there is a simple logical reason fot not having more unlicensed teams.
