You buy them from the shop. To keep them permanently, you have to gain the experience required to do so, within a year. They must be equipped as well. The same applies for new positions.

Graphics look decent enough but, as Ali already mentioned, with this type of game I'd be more concerned with the atmosphere, the story and the gameplay. The axe to the head, shotgun to the face and the grenade sequences look fantastic, if those are actual in-game scenes and not videos.

I just finished the first episode of TWD. I do like the concept very much. I like the comic style of the graphics. Story is great. My only complain are the zombies. I think they could have worked a bit more on them. They do look like shit.
