I have loved PES for a long time but 08 was rubbish! I ended up playing FIFA more last year and can appreatiate what both games offer, as much as you guys say it is, i don't think the gameplay is that bad, yes PES is better but it's not as if it's unbareable. I think FIFA's season mode is better...

Don't be shocked it's good to see the competion improving, i personally hated PES 08 and converted to fifa last year. I always go with what feels more comftable and enjoyable and what my mates play, last year it was FIFA this year.... dunno yet?!

That did make me laugh last year, why get the licenses for such poo teams! least they have have gone back to the better sides with Man u and liverpool

as i said it's a review! they may of loved 08. doesn't mean 09 will blow your mind. (hopefully it will) I read another review from a ps3 mag and they said this game doesn't feel new, mainly just an upgrade of last year.

In 1 Playstion 3 mag the rates pes 09 at 88/100 and rated fifa 09 at 89/100. it's gunna be down to choice and what your mates play.

Im def getting both, Fifa 08 was o.k and it did have some floors but i ended up playing that more than PES 2008. Fifa 09 looks awsome this year and yes it still has a few bugs but it plays alot better.

They have to get the license for those to, so they struggle.

YOU REST YOUR CASE!!! yeah they sometimes drop the ball, but they quickly get on top of it! not stay on the floor for 20 mins so the opposition can toe poke it in the back of the net?! Yes it sometimes does happen, but the keepers are so slow to react and it happens ALL the time I rest...

I did 'read up' actually but Konami lie! they said they had fixed the lag with that pointless patch the released early this year! The also stated that the AI for PES 2008 on the next-gen games was the best they had ever had with a new engine that learns how you play! (which was absolute shite!)...
