Didn't EA bring there release date to the begining of the month for FIFA08 or was it 09?

The news draught seems to have been worth it! wasn't it suggested that this years realease would be around the 2nd and then moved to 23rd?

It would make sense, firstly it is Konami so hyping is not something you should expect. Also with FIFA 10 shortly to be released, if they are confident with the product then get it out before those that will only buy one title (either FIFA or PES) receive their order. But I will wait and see!

IMO Online is popular because it always better to play a human opponent than the AI, I would say the game play etc. needs to better for a stand alone game than it ever does when playing somebody else.

The first week or so there was lag, they did something to fix this though and it was all good from there, until 2008 that is.

OK it looks like its just me then; just to point out it is not a worry, and the cut scene build up is not always an option, online for example, plus not everyone wants to watch them and would press the start button to skip anyway, which is fair enough, however the forced wait was just there...

Apparently the game now loads during the setup of tactics etc. so starts as soon as you have setup. Having thought about it i fell this will be a big loss to the game, I always found those seconds vital for getting in a last couple of digs, or taking a few deep breaths before and setting myself...

I must concur, FIFA09 got about 3 weeks last year, with a bout 6 hours play after that. PES09 on the other hand hasn't really been out of my PS3

From the other videos, there is an obvious improvement on how quickly they close down around the area however the positioning in and around the box still needs lots of work, the CPU players seem to run towards the ball rather than finding a position between the ball and the goal.
