Most likely yes, I can't remember too many games that are region locked. But your problem might come if downloadable content goes up in the PSN store. As the UK PSN store can only work with PAL region games.

I never have the players name on as I feel the white writing is a bit too big and in some cases makes it hard to see the ball. I frequently look at the bottom left/right corner to see who has the ball if I'm not sure.
