It's not possible to directly convert a PES4 option file into a PES5 one, only partially. You can only transport certain parts of data like team names from a PES4 OF to PES5. There are different kit formula's and licenses etc in PES5 so it's not possible to transfer kits for example. And...

Have you tried erasing everything on the max drive - or just the problem option file itself? It sounds like the file has become corrupted at some point so deleting it and then transferring an option file back onto the max drive might do the trick, rather than overwriting it.
