I was thinking about this. I think the only way your player could be computer controlled in BAL is when you hold the auto-move button. Maybe then the COM controlled special abilities activate.

I hardly ever call for the ball and get lots of passes. Just try to read the game and get into open spaces. The passes will come.

I started a new BAL player, this time SS as opposed to AMF. I managed to score in 5 consecutive games and got the scoring special ability ticked so it's definitely NOT "score many goals." I've only scored 10 goals and am finalizing my first season.
