Middle shooting is the same as shooting from a distance. Someone at Konami flopped and didn't realize that they gave one ability two different names.

I've had my team miss a few times under those circumstances, but they do seem to score more often than not!

Good idea. Though the two editors that I know of don't add abilities. Your beta version doesn't. Yes you can. Any position can attain middle shooting. I think scoring + middle shooting would make for a killer combo.

Go into system settings and change the controller settings. I used to give away the ball too until I changed them. Now I have to push in the right analogue stick to do a manual pass.

I've seen that last bit happen with ANY play. Sometimes my AI teammates go for a long pass and then just stand there. Thing is, the ball rebounds off one of the defenders and rolls back to the player that just kicked it. What does he do? Just stands there...:rolleyes: This happens with shots...

I just tested with a CMF BAL save and if Short Pass Accuracy and Long Pass Accuracy are lower than 75, then Playmaking is not checked. It has to be 75+

Not sure then, scoring is a really odd special ability. I got it surprisingly early. I'll double check the playmaking stats.

What season are you in Spud? I usually don't get an offer from a big team until my third season.

If by "special one" you mean through pass then the AI does send those. Are you saying your teammates never send a through pass your way?

Granted I don't ALWAYS have the ball, but my ratings don't suffer from it. Usually get 7-8 rating.

Did you score at least 1 goal in 5 consecutive games? Also, this is for FORWARDS only. That means CF, SS and I think WF too. When I played with my AMF BAL player I had scored lots more goals and was in my third season. I had CF and SS ticked and scored in more than 5 consecutive goals and didn't...
