Is there a way to slow down the speed of the game? It's too friggin fast. I'll have to turn to FIFA [sigh] if I can't fix this. Argh.

What? The speed is normal on mine. It's not fast unlike pes 08. It's just normal.
BTW there's no option for game speed.

I know how you feel...whatever people on here say, you're right it's unrealistically fast though some matches it seems ok - dunno why?! At least there is an option for it on FIFA.

I think the main problem is the short pass speed. And, as in every PES, some players' agility and acceleration is too high.

It'd take ages but if I had time I'd set an entire team's short pass speed to 20 or whatever and play a match (against same team).

If that doesn't do it then maybe learn to play with manual pass, someone recommended it on here.

It ruins an otherwise great game. It's my first PES on next gen, I've thought about going back to PS2 - the way PES is meant to be. And it#s not about personal taste, it's about realism.

^Pes 09 next gen seems pretty real to me. The stats really matter unlike previous versions. It's like pes 5.

Yeah it's strange, I just played my master league and it seemed pretty good speed - maybe it's the update? Some people think the update has made it faster, I dunno.

Its might be the TV mate its weird, my pro evo is really fast on my brothers tele but when i play it on mine its normal (slow in my opinion)

i'm 0n ps3 console, actually the passing speed in pes09 quite fast, if possible, i would like too slow down a bit for the short passing speed.....but if we talking about the realism of gameplay, this should ok...after so many times i'm compared the pes09 gameplay and tv live broadcast for english England League...especially last saturday match in between manu and stoke city, i'm sure you can see the passing speed from manu player even much more faster than pes09..unbelievable......

Actually we control the speed gameplay for our own team, but we are unable to control the AI......
