A Goal but not a Goal

Hi there,
just a few minutes ago I scored a bizare free kick with Sneijder from 40+ meters. It was a lame shot, but somehow it went trough the legs of the keeper. So I scored from a hugh distance. But somehow, the goal did not count and the game continued with a goal kick. Is this a bug? Did any of you had this before?

on an older game I scored from the halfwayline almost becks style it was freakish though never did it again only wished i had saved it..

On another occasion again in a previous pes I had a goal ruled out for offside..."directly from a corner kick!!

some other wierd stuff 2 but I always forget to damn well save them....

I saved this one. But it is difficult to see because the replay doesnt show my goal is followed by a goal kick. You can see nobody is cheering or so.

Calm down. It was just an in-direct free kick.

keeper error the game has rnd keeper errors they don't happen often but they do happen through his legs through hisopen hands drop it try to recover but push it over the line etc etc to be fair just happening infrequentley gives the game a bit more realism because these things DO happen :)

Why would they set up a wall for an indirect freekick from 50m out anyway? And as far as I played PES, the only indirect freekicks awarded in this game are the offsides; this obviously wasn't one as it was awarded in the attacking half.

I say it's a bug.

Nope, the indirect free kick have to be touched at least once before its a goal. That one touch can be done by every player in the field from the team "A" and "B" too.
If u see the video of his goal the gk open the legs to let the ball goes inside.
If a indirect free kick is a direct goal from the shooter, and it was a goal, it was becoz someone touch the ball first (example: touch the wall, or an stupid gk).
The team that have an indirect free kick cant make an own goal, it is an corner kick.

I think I known why it was an indirect one. The opponent was diving all the time, thinking it was funny. Though I can't find if diving results in an indirect free kick, it is a good possibility, right?

Rubbish - I have seen this in real life, Lee Harrison Goal keeper (Barnet FC england league 2) waved a freekick into the net, the Halifax (i think) players all celebrated but Lee stood firm with a smile and placed the ball for a goal-kick. The ref awarded a goal kick.

If however the goalkeeper (or any other player) had touched the ball before it entered the net a goal would have been given.

Very good realism pro - would be even better if the GK just moved out of the way and winked at the ref!!!

No, none of them are shot with O; I don't get how people could score those. It was the Up-Arrow plus little shot, I aimed for a low-ball but seems Giggs still decided it needed more power haha, it was very lucky anyway. It was scored back in the day when you could score under-the-wall free kicks; Konami patched this in 1.01 or 1.02, I can't remember exactly. That dude had Casillas.
