ive seen fifa 2005 it looks the same shite,just played pes4 there its hard gettin used to the shots,tricks and skills are a big improvement,goalkeeper has improved ai

Hey thats MY review I posted on Xbox Forums!! I'm pleased its opened another debate. On a side note, I'd like to say that after about a full weeks play on both, I'm leaning more and more on PES4 side obviosuly, as I said, it is the better game overall, but please understand that I was reviewing the games themselves on merit. PES4 in excellent, but still, somewhat disappointing... Too high expectations! Fifa 2005 genuinely surprised me.

No PES4's graphics are better imo. They are "cleaner". Like I said, most player models look terrible in Fifa 2005. Rooney looks utter crap compared to him on PES4.

I hate it when people keep knocking the Pro Evo visuals. I honestly think (and i'm not being biased) that PES graphics are the best around. Yes, FIFA is brighter and presented better but PES4 is looking far more realistic and atmospheric than other football game about.

i think fifa is pleasing on the eye, the graphics on pes already are looking old but they still look half decent and and i don't mind them tbh

Player models look shit in Fifa, all deformed, PES4 models look spot on, looks a far better game visually if you ask me.

74% for PES4 graphics i don't agree with that. Well not played pes4, but i've got we8 and the graphics are fantastic, and most who have played pes4 are saying, it's graphics look a little sharper than we8, so 74% is a bit harsh I think. As for player models PES4 definately has it very good, compared to Fifa. In Fifa they do not look quite right. Big heads, strange sheen on players....too many fake and strangely drawn faces. Also the animation, to me, feels better on we8, so I would imagine PES4 is pretty damn good too. Not impressed with Fifa animation, kinda jerky.

Before anyone asks, I have played Fifa2005 at gamestars live.

well no-one is asking you ;) only joking, i think we should all agree to disagree, some say they have good player models, some say fifa has better graphics, some say pes graphics are crap, some say the faces on fifa look crap and some say the faces on fifa are good...etc etc fact is, they are 2 very good football games on the shelves, and which ever you choose ( maybe both ) is your own prefrence...i thank you and good night ( appause for giggsy11 ) ;)

i've got a demo of fifa 2005, and i gotta say, it did surprise me....its a big big improvement on 2004, but the gameplay on pes3 is better...so imagine how big the gap is gonna be (gameplay wise) when pes4 comes out!

Tell you what, I'll write an updated review this weekend to give me more time to play both failry. Please dont be too biased on PES4 in any replies though... We all know it is the better game to play, but they are very different games and Fifa 2005 has a lot of strengths as well.

Well i did say in another post that Fifa 2005 will be a rental, as I dont see the need in buying it. At the end of the day, I know I will be playing pro so why would I be playing any other footie game? I'll give credit where its due though, and have a play of the final version of Fifa2005. But to be honest i just cannot see it having any lastability, or any fun in multiplayer.

some people in this forum need to stop acting like fanboys. you havent even played the game but yet you think you know everything about it. FIFA 2005 is totally different than any other FIFA. they've made huge improvements albeit the shooting needs work. FIFA 2005 is a good , PES4 is a great game. Its as simple as that. I'll be getting the two of them and enjoying both of them. unlike some people i dont care about this stupid loyalty to one company. they dont pay u so why give a shit! just enjoy two brilliant footy games, we dont get that often
