pes is a cool name, its pes, if you say pes people say 'the best football game ever'. And if they don't know what pes means talk to them about something else, I mean you can't chat up birds talking about pes it doesn't work(I've tried.)

Only people who have played pes will say its the best footie game ever..but ppl who don't even like football or football games know the FIFA series of games..because of the amount of time its been out.

I am firmly of the opinion, that if Konami are serious about competing with EA Sports, they need a new name for this series of games. It's a right mouthful at the best of times! It's too long and cumbersome and, when abbreviated to PES 1, 2 or 3, only the initiated know what you're on about! Mind you, Winning Eleven ain't exactly catchy either!

No wonder most kids choose FIFA! Such a shame....

Perhaps you are right. Even PES2 and PS2 sounds almost alike. Since the game is better than the real thing most of the time, it should should fantastic.
Maybe "Virtual Footabll" . What name do you think is the best?

FIFA will never suffer really, Even is sales drop cos they have the reputation as i said PES need a footie player on the front to boost sales...ppl know pes as being the game with no real player names so if pes did get full licenses know-one would know about it really unless they had a world-class player on the front in a proper fully licensed kit.
