what do you mean beyond the graph?
If its OVER the graph line then you are doing better than expected.

Yes, I mean over the graph line. This is my curve:

By the way now I'm on my fifth season. Strengthen points are still 12. But they don't effect my stats as much as my previous seasons.

6 on kicking, 6 on dribbling. After a match my attack, dribble accuracy and technique is increasing approximately 10 points.

I Discovered something new yesterday that you can get Match Experience points but getting a rating lower than 7.

And alot of it too. It seems to happend when you use a certian attribute alot through out the game.
For example it happened when I shot 10 or so shots most off target so I got a low rating but match exp in Shooting accuracy also when I ran/dribbled alot got them for speed and dribbling

I managed to get no match experience points although I scored a 7 rating not sure how that happened????

I know you get more expirience points for matches with tough opponents - when i first won match against Inter i got about 8 points increase for most stats, that was only once though... Also, looks like most expirience is brought by a heroic effort - like scoring winning ball several minutes before the end. Getting high rating looks like just a coincidence here - i played several matches with 7+ rating and didn't get any expirience. Just playing well doesn't count later in the game - if you're a CF, you're supposed to score, no exp for that :)

in my opinion, the rating system, uses things like, shots, passes, goals, assists, dribbling for about 50% of the rating, the other 50% is lucky dip lol

i am doing some testing at the moment, and the rating system, is tbh quite bad

There is a key to getting high rating - don't loose the ball. When you screw it several times, team-mates start to avoid you, you don't even tuch it, just run around in field. And you should be noticable! Better do a pass or shoot or intercept.

Also be careful about your position. Try to be closer to the ball. Be active! Good stamina helps here. Check your strategy (arrows) to find out how you're supposed to move, and if you're midfielder don't forget about defence too. Scoring isn't everything, I play DMF and sometimes get 7+ even if we lose with none balls scored. Luck also counts, but usually I found ratings pretty fair.

I don't think so. I think it depends on statics. And also I think that there is a secret form rating for your team in Pes series. In my opinion this is decided by computer. Alas, it depends on luck. When you played very well unlike your team and win the match alone, you will take amazing ratings. I played with fix setting in all Pes series. I took 10.0 ratings in Pes 2008 just like that.

And in my BaL, with Galatasaray I took the league and league cup. All team played very well for entire season and my rating was approximately 7.0. Then I moved to Valencia. In Valencia, my rating was around 7.5 but our team played horribly. We finished the league at 7th place. According to me my rating was higher just because of my team mate's low form.

I mean; if all of your team mates' ratings are low and you played very well, your rating will increase a little bit higher. So luck only effects the form of your team.

This is the way of my thinking :)

NOTE: By the way I don't mean condition. Condition is another matter I think.

If you want to complete long through passes I don't think the technique attribute comes into play as much as pass accuracy, pass speed, and teamwork. My opinion is based on the Piggyback interactive PES guides, which, as I remember it, explain that technique is more for trapping and dribbling -- though I would have to check to be sure. Shooting is regulated heavily by shot technique, but it's more your ability to pull off a shot when under pressure from an opponent or at a bad angle to goal, in other words it help make sure you don't flub the shot. With passing this doesn't come into play as much. Even a poor passer seems to be able to pull off passes when they are backheels or at a bad angle/off balance, though maybe technique would improve this to some degree??? I guess my point is that in my opinion long through passing wouldn't be dictated by technique, but, say an off-balance cross (while falling or almost out of bounds) probably would be - if you assume that it works the same as with shooting.

Anyway, I go for the strategy of increasing kicking technique almost exclusively, then eventually bring up the other stats. It all depends on how you player starts out and what you need. I don't think there is one perfect strategy, but if there is, I don't think it's to keep everything even in the "strengthen" chart. For one, you will want to push to reach the 70, 75, and 80 markers sometimes for certain attributes, or decide you need more stamina if the coach is playing you too much. Now that kicking is getting up where I want it, I'm actually changing my strengthen chart every few games as I change my mind about what I need most, based on my performances.

I checked the piggyback guide again, and technique is for trapping, dribbling skills (special skills such as roulette) and also it helps with lob shots. It's not for passing from what I can see.

Can a team promise you first team in BAL? Or you always have to do the traning matches?
Also how can you play at another position? Some people are playing at CMF, DMF, SMF, SS at the same time. How?
Thanks.

my legend signed for Tottenham and went straight on to the bench - no training matches - this was on top player so it can happen.

As for playing other positions you will only be able to play this if your manager selects you for the role. When signing for a club it shows you what positions you are being bought to fulfill. It's up to the manager if he uses you in them. Once you have played in these positions several times (lets say 5 or more) then you will achieve the tick in the relevant position.

Well... If it makes you feel better, I'm 21, WF, on top player, at Newcastle, doing pretty well but no special abilities yet. I think it's because I don't score enough for any of those abilites and my player is well-rounded, as opposed to especially talented at any one thing.
