Broadband Provider

If you have Broadband great, help me with my survey on which broadband you like best (YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE THE SERVICE!) and why; is it because it is cheap? Fast? Easy to play online games?

Im carrying out my survey because I am wanting to change from my current Broadband provider as it has been unreliable (have had people come out and fix it on 2 occasions! wont work with online games! doesnt seem to work after 8:00 at night :erm: )

Bulldog Broadban is cost effective and I have heard very few bad things about it, it's the ISP I'll be using in my new house. I've also been with NTL(Telewest) for some time and they have been very reliable.

I think Bulldog is actually very dodgie. That's probably why it's so cheap. It was even on WatchDog.

No problems with BT except it sometimes dosen't connect to the web, when you really need it to. Maybe karma or something.

If you are responsible for the phone as well I would go to Carphone Warehouse and get their package for Internet and phone all in one.

I use Tiscali and its not bad. In fact its great because I wrote to them to stop my service to use the Carphone Warehouse deal - they have stopped billing me but the internet is still on and because Ive got it in writing that it has been stopped and I wont be billed again I dont want to rock any boats. Been free for at least 6 months lol

I use NTL and they are relialbe but NTL fucks up my house phone, sometimes it never works

I use Tiscali and so far have had no problems. I have the 2MB unlimited deal for £14.99 and it is a good service.

The only gripe I do have however, is the fact that they stress to you not to download during their peak hours (6pm - 11pm every day:shocking

I have been given an offer from Orange, 2MB Unlimited Broadband for £27.99 (get to use home phone for free at weekends) and my mobile is basically free as you go (not pay), it is also wireless and can connect to my PS2 and XBOX You think i should do it?

That happened to me too. They have clocked on now but they said they wont charge me because it is thier error

I'm with a small company called Force9. Brilliant service, but i'll still change to Sky.

I've searched for Sky Broadband on Google and I find nothing, other than Sky By Broadband.

I currently use Tiscali, and I have the package deal including the anytime phones. £21 for the phone deal plus unlimited 2MB broadband. In August Tiscali will launch 8MB unlimited broadband for about £20 (according to them)!!

edit: nevermind. Sky Broadband appears to be EXTREMELY cheap.

Holy fuck. 16MB broadband for £10 per month! I've registered my interest, and I'm glad to hear that I can get the service!

i got BT. its good and reliable but it has had a few problems a while back, but its still a great service. Dont know about the other ones, bulldog seems dogey

Tiscali. £14.99 for 1mb, £17.99 for 2mb. Good value if you ask me and theres unlimited downloads. I've never had any major problems with Tiscali.

I'll check out Sky broadband when its available though.
