Celtic and Rangers for the Premiership?

I want to know wot peole think about Celtic and Rangers in the premiership. Personally I dont think it will ever happen and even if it did the they would only b mid table or 8th position at best, im from Scotland by the way and dont support either team.

No bad idea one they wont be good enough for the premiership they will probably just be mid table, plus it would ruin the SPl as there best teams have gone.

Rangers and Celtic would be challenging for the 4th spot and place into Champions League.

Not that they will go to the Premiership anyway, there are too many factors in the way.

If The Old Firm left Scotland, there would be the argument that the SPL would become stronger as essentially, it would be a 10 horse-race for the title.

i have seen celtic and rangers play before the likes of them can barely beat blackburn and Middlesborough of these worlds! :laugh: I wouldnt mind celtic and rangers coming to Epl means more points for the rest

well scottish are scottish, and english are english. don't think there should be any mixing. maybe rangers and celtic would untimately help the scottish league to improve with their youngsters, but if they go to the Premiership the scottish league will become cheap. too cheap in my opinion

I wouldn't mind celtic and rangers comeing to the prem but i don't think it will ever happen fifa has very strict rules and if that did happen then what about if a german club wanted to come to the prem ?.

I doubt that I can't see them beating Man City.

that's what they all say . don't think celtic or rangers will ever challenge the likes of liverpool, man utd, arsenal and chelsea amongst others. so forget the CL

the position they will ocuppy in the EPL is relevant. the point is: there are scottish teams, and there are english teams. if the two countries are near eachother that doesn't mean that they can transfer from one league to another. next we will see lyon and monaco in the spanish liga because the french league is of lower level.

Whats all this crap that Celtic and Rangers will be challenging for the Champions League?

and what English teams have they beaten, the only one I can remember is Celtic beating Liverpool in the UEFA cup a couple of seasons ago. By beating Liverpool in a two-game tie, that proves bugger all.

I'd love to see them come to the Premiership because I think they're ruining Scottish football. The SPL would be fantastic without them and it would benefit. Think about Hearts or Hibs in the Champions League?!

Anyway, Rangers and Celtic wouldn't struggle in the Premiership but they would not provide a match for the top six clubs in the division and they would end up finishing around mid-table.
