Newcastle have been made ridiculously over-rated on CM 03/04 i went as them before, signed no-one and won the quadruple! (League, FA CUP, Worthingotn Cup, Uefa Cup)..and i don't really consider myself a CM Pro..i just quickly choose my team and get on with it..in the new CM (well it is really) FM2005 Newcastle seem to have been made a bit more realistic, i went as them for 8 games and lost to Arsenal 3-1, Chelsea 2-1 and drew 2 other games (Villa and Liverpool i think it was) and when i was Arsenal they were 20th after 3 games but have climbed up to around 12th now and are on a bit of a roll, so they seem to have made it realistic where Newcastle get off to a terrible start but start picking some form up after around 6 games.

They aren't ridiculously over-rated, it's just in real life they underperform at times. This season will be different. You watch. The Entertainers are coming back. Souness won't take no shit.

im not saying newcastle aren't a good team, under Souness they are showing and will continue to show they are a very good team, but to be able to win the Quadruple without signing any players IMO makes them a ridiculously over-rated team in CM03/04, considering they havent won any trophies in 30 or so years.

Does anyone know any CM sites where I can find some quality background pictures. I'm sick of seeing lower league tat. (No offence LL suporters.)

I have some on my PC I want to put in but in the graphics folder there are XML files with all the pics listed under each club. Not sure what to do with this. Can I just bung my pics in a folder and it'll pick them up auto? Or do I have to fuck on for ages with coding and stuff...

which is the official 1 football manager or cm5, when i looked at cm5 cover the stats were out of 99 like proevo, so i duno which is official

they are both official, but Football Manger is being made by SI Games, and CM by good old Eidos, so really the official sequel to CM03/04 is CM5 being made by Eidos, but both are meant to be quite a lot different from each other and CM03/04

Football Manager 2005 is the one to get. CM5 is not the old championship manager as it is being made by a different company, FM05 is really the new CM, (made by CM creators si games) but with an improved game engine, mind games between managers and bundles more CM5 is not even being released until Feb 2005 i hear.

SD RAM refers to a type of ram that is not as fast as the industry standard today (DDR RAM) SD RAM has speeds of 66Mhz, 100Mhz, and 133Mhz where as DDR RAM has speeds that range from 200Mhz - ~500Mhz, they say that 256megs of SD Ram (133Mhz variety) is the same as having 128DDR RAM (266 Mhz variety)...

so in close.. SD RAM is OLD and DDR RAM is new.. and better...
