Classic Teams!!!

Yeah, i've tried using the transfer mode. But the thing is that the classic teams don't have any free "unregistered" slots. So it seems impossible to move free agents to the classic teams.

TRIVIAL BUT CURIOUS FACT/BUG:

This doesn't seem to have been pointed out (is it just me?) but in the PES Shop, when you think you're unlocking one classic team, you actually unlock another... I clicked on Classic England and got Germany instead.

Also, if I then play an exhibition match against Classic Germany, at the end of the game, if I go to "start new match", suddenly C. Germany has switched to Classic England in the team select screen, and I can now play against Classic England even though I haven't bought them in the shop (well, I thought I had but I hadn't if you follow me). And of course I can go to 'Player settings' and then play AS Classic England as I'd originally intended to.

The same mix-up occurs with C.Brazil and C.Argentina, who become Netherlands and France I think. So, you only have to unlock half of the Classic teams to play as all the Classic teams, in exhibition mode at least.

so which is the best classic side? as a team? i think its germany? you guys?

Thats a tough one. England are so under-rated in the game and most players are average with one or two good stats each. Holland have an amazing attack and good defence but shite midfield. Italy and France are quite strong throughout but not amazing. So between Brazil and Germany. Personally I'd go for Brazil 'cause they've got the best midfielders and strikers.

eh true but i think Germany tactics is better, i have alot of options in the width. maybe its just me, but Argentina's not too bad

I forgot about Argentina. I think that Maradona and Di Stefano more than make up for having not quite so good players in other positions!
