like Plantini is not in the same team with cantona when playing for France. cantona play for france latter stages right? correct me if i am wrong

Yea, for the classic teams, they take who they think were the best players for that country EVER (apart from current players obviously). I don't think that Platini and Cantona ever played togther though for France.

The classic teams are just a collection of a country's greatest players, it's not just one team from a classic era, like Brazil in the 70s (although almost all of Classic Brazil's players are from then). It's a mixture of the country's greatest players from all times.
