Well mate, once again this all comes down to standards again, and also about consistency to a certain exent. As you will have no doubt seen, Ballack can score some excellent free kicks, especially those two on the video link I gave:shocking:. But remember again about not judging players by one or two moments, but over seasons. Now I dont know if you watch Ballack regularly, hopefully you can now he is in the EPL, but he isnt that World class free kick taker of someone like Beckham. With free kick accuracy of 80 and 79 curling he can still score those beautiful free kicks like in the video, but it isnt that world class rating that means he can do it all the time. Because he doesnt! He only scores once every so often, and has the miscues, and the rockets over the bar.

So judging on his general free kick ability, Ballack deserves 80 because he can score those peaches with it, but he does them with a consistency that mirrors real life. You see what I mean?

i've found that with a free kick accuracy of 80 u can get them on target most of the time. 87-88 is high overration. but then again i used to think like that.

No mate, dont regret posting the reply! I encourage you to post stuff like that. You dont know unless you ask! This is exactly the kind of thing you should do, because from you posting that, you have learnt firstly about standard issues regarding consistency, and about what kind of free kick values dictate what ingame.

So never hesitate to ask, because the chances are you can probably learn something about stats or a player, and that is exactly the point of this thread.

bagz you've done adriano a long time ago with 99 power for shot and I think 87 for accuracy. don't you think 99 is too high because with this accuracy he can almost shot the ball from everywhere with impossible power directly in the net. what do you think

bagz i feel that 99 for lampards stamina is a little overated i think that 94/95 is more appropriate also dont you think that kaka is one of the worlds best attacking midfielders

hey, i think lampards mentality maybe should be lower,if u watch him in matches that arent going his teams way he seems 2loose confidence,england in the world cup is a perfect example,what do you think?

Lampard runs a hell of a lot and has great stamina, 99 is pefect, I mean, He's like Gerrard, doesn't stop, can play 90+ mins for about 30+ matches, which is amazing.

Hahaha!! Now I wish i could've been there to see it.

It just shows that Konami have made editing an art, not just for fun. I think Ballack's FK accuracy is just right, for the main reason being that he won't hit the target all the time from set-peices, just like in real-life.
Also, regarding Gerrard. I saw him in the England friendly against Greece and never really noticed how well he can cross! He sent some cracking balls, and seemed to find Crouch well [even if Crouch screwed some of the chances up!]. I thought his crossing was a bit overrated before, but after looking more closely at his long range passing ability, bagrunnel proved me wrong.
Lampard's mentality deserves 99, he was in top form last season and barely missed a match. His loss of confidence was not sustained over a long period of time [we don't see it week in week out]. coming from an arsenal supporter. ;)

Regarding Lampard's stamina, he is the ONLY player who deserves 99 stamina. The guy is a machine, and has the freakiest ability to just keep on going. If a guy who plays 150+ consecutive matches doesn't deserve 99 stamina I dont know who does:laugh:

And Adriano's shot power should also be 99. There are very few values in the game that should be 99, e.g Martins top speed, Lampard stamina, Ronaldinho Dribble accuracy. Adriano shot power is one of them, because him and Roberto Carlos have the two hardest shots out there. Adriano is the king of power! I have watched many computer controlled games with Adriano, and would certainly say that he does not scores everytime!

Zakora and Berbatov are definitely two hot prospects and great signings for Spurs. Zakora was particularly impressive and I think he should fit nicely into a premiership midfield. To be honest though I dont think I have seen quite enough of the two players to do complete updates. I did see a lot of Zakora in Ligue 1 last season, so hopefully with a bit more viewing this season I should be able to start getting some figures down. I have seen very little of Berbatov, so the same goes for him really.
