Basically im just looking to update the arsenal team, would you be able to reply with a list of all the stats for all the main players please because i just cant find each player in this thread?

Bags, just got a question in regard to those ronaldo stats.do you not think his top speed to be a little too high?

I mean when he's on a red arrow his top speed will be going on 90 i feel that a stat in the region of 80-78 would be much more appropriate meaning when he's off form he will be pretty much 'imobile' but when he's on form he'll be almost as good as his old self.

What are your thoughts?

Its good that you are taking into account the conditional arrows as they are great at giving us what you describe as a 'good or bad day' for a player. Ronaldo still has pace, its just we always compare him to the EXCEPTIONAL pace of what he used to have. Its his acceleration thats mainly dipped. If you consider him in his best days, he would have had an acceleration in the mid 90's so if you consider the difference , I think we have that right. But like you say when he has a top game with a red arrow his value will be higher, which is exactly what we want! On his day he is still a very fast player. Even on red arrow he wont be as good as he used to be.

The condition arrows are really effective when we regard pace, because we can get accurate results. How many times have we seen a player like Henry outsprinted by a slower player, just because he is having a bad day. But how many times have we seen him zip away on a great day. Exactly the same situation applys to Ronaldo.

These are his actual abilities. If we could select what condition he would be manually to mirror real life, he would be on blue or grey a lot. But 84 for top speed and 80 for acceleration are his actual abilities, he just hasn't shown them since before the World Cup:laugh:

Its a shame you arent still doing appearances and physiques, I always thought that was a great part of your posts as the players not only played but looked like the players themselves.
I must admit I'm jealous of you having the PC version, patching-wise, as those players you've shown looked ridiculously real.

I thought i would post up Owen hargreaves His default stats were terrible and he was much in need of an update.

First point I will make is about Owen’s Mentality and fighting spirit, in the default stats he had a laughable stat in the 60s, Owen will keep fighting and battle right until the end of a match this is why I have give him a 88 for mentality which will portray him excellently in-game.

Secondly I have also given him a 88 for stamina. Owen has a great level of stamina an example of this was England’s game against Portugal were Owen kept on driving forward deep into extra time. A large 88 shows this well in-game and shows Owen’s large level of stamina.

Finally I have toned down the passing attributes from the default stats in which Owen had the playmaker special star this obviously isn’t the kind of player that Owen is he is more of a holding player which is the reason for a low 68 in the aggression stat meaning he will sometimes get forward but mostly sit- just like in real life.

Generally good set, you have picked up on main points such as stamina and mentality. And have good values for those. I put them each slightly higher at 90 each put we are in the range so all is good.

One thing that particularly jumped out at me was your value of response. Im not sure if you are completely aware of the implications of this value, but 93 is far to high. Knock it down 10 points, and you have the value of 83 that I had.

You have got his speed pretty much spot on, and most importantly you got his attack/defence ratio well balanced. I feel it could be slightly closer together, 69 and 75 are my values.

Did well to recognise they had put his passing too high, but you have pulled it down a bit too much. 76,78,78,80 were the four passing values I had.

There could be a few more tweaks here and there, like heading, agility, shot power, but you have got the gist well.

Thanks again bags for that swift reply, the reason forthe high respose was simply when i played a few matches he just felt right in game.

I will go tone that stat down by 10 or so and see how he plays.

Those stats look pretty good but don't you think that Owen would warrant the sliding special star-he does give a awful lot of silly free kicks away and also i think he should have the centre star-when playing in the holding role Owen never goes out wide or show for the ball. He is pretty much stationary in front of the back four.

good to hear about the physiques bags!! you should speak to Chicken 7 about appearances - shes normally very good at them and extremely prompt also, just an idea.
Oh and look forward to your Hargreaves mate, seeing as though he could be in the EPL this coming season.
I was thinking as well, are you going to carry on your editing into Pro Evo 6?

Bags where you say 'preliminary stats' do you mean that you're going to review these and post further ones?

Yes they are only preliminary. They haven't undergone to much testing, and I have spotted a few things which just need tweaking ever so slightly.

HTF - Sorry? The reason Hargreaves has no specal star in sliding is because like you said he is quite rash at times, and his defence rating will give him a realistic accuracy regarding tackles. If you have the special sliding star it increases the quality of the tackles.

And Im still undecided about giving center star. I feel without it we will see him in an accurate spread of areas. Remeber he doesnt mind going outside to get the ball or on a run.
