If you think that Mido will not be a legend for Spurs in the future, then you have obviously never seen him play because otherwise you would now that he will be the top scorer next season and win the UEFA Cup for Spurs, whether they deserve it or not. They might as well sell Kanoute and Keane, because the only strikers they need are Defoe and Mido who will both definately be a Spurs legend in the future.

Well Mido isn't a first team regular like Anderton, he hasn't scored as many goals as Anderton for Spurs (Mido has scored twice) and has grown up in an age where foreign football players are all over the Premiership. Anderton grew up in an age where every child wanted to be a footballer. Sure Mido has talent and a very rich uncle but Anderton went through tougher times and still became a first team regular for Spurs. Mido can't even co-operate with most managers i.e. Marseille, Ajax, Roma etc.

Why are Spurs fans going on like they are back ! You won the double 40 years ago and havent won anything for at least a decade. Does finishing in the top ten mean you are suddenly back ! I dont think so.

Spurs are a very ordinary side but from reading these posts anyone would think that they are challenging Man Utd and Arsenal for the Champions league places.

I think that day is a long time off.

You can hardly call West Brom and Villa challenging rivals! We have teams like Arsenal and Chelsea in our area. Whats all that crap about being an ordinary side? We have one of the best teams in Europe and are always progressing! Just wait and see, We will be the Champions of Europe soon!
