I fear this might be the one that kills my computer, it looks far too good for my computer to be running it smoothly.
I don't think there are any specs out yet, Original.
Played as them earlier - and would you believe Barry they actually speak Dutch. I was amazed. Hard though, because they own Dutch Guyana and Ceylon, so you're stretched all across the World.
Actually played as Sweden the other day - I have a lot of respect for Charles XII, so I thought I'd try and realize his imperial dream. Firstly the game is very accurate in that Russia, Poland-Lithuania and Denmark are all allied from the off. Of course, I invaded Denmark so war was inevitable. Russia won't face me in open battle but are rather annoyingly damaging all my buildings in Finland and Livonia. Most annoying however are Courland, a protectorate of Poland, who keep sending armies into Livonia every turn, only to get smashed. I don't know how much longer I can hold out in the East while I'm fighting the Danes, so I sold off Ingria to the English, getting 7000 and a very useful alliance in the process. If I can get an alliance with the United Provinces I'd be very happy with my diplomatic dealings.
As for the war with Denmark, it started promisingly enough, as I took Norway with relative ease. But the attack on Copenhagen ended disastrously when the Danes pre-empted my pincer movement and crushed my main army (it was outnumbered 2:1 mind), the flower of Swedish chivalry wiped out on the fields of Jutland. Angered, I destroyed their fleet and seized all their trade ports, while I sent a decent-sized force to Iceland, taking the island and destroying the last remnants of their fleet. I'm going to build up in the Baltic now and take Copenhagen, which will be tough, while at the same time prepping Iceland as a base for some colonial activity in North America.
