Euro 2004 tournament!

Yay, abck on the 'net after a day or two off. I had to go and buy a telly yesterday, and then hadda a big arse paintball + piss-up night after that. Today was spent playing and refereeing 3+ hours of soccer, so I'm buggered. Then me and a couple of mates spent 4-5 hours playing 4 player PES3 and CTR, friggin' great fun!
On topic: I'm keen to be a caretaker-manager for whichever side's manager can't show up because of heart-pulpatations (read: I'll take over a side if the manager doesn't show up)
As for press info and odds, I continue to do that, even though -=101st=- has started to journo'ing as well. More the merrier!

Ok guys i'm back...just needed some time out from this comp to do a little rest and recoup, (off topic: If any of you are considering watching The day after tomorrow....don't, it's pants If you do, then there is something football related in there...which doesn't make this completely off topic, lol)
Anyways, i'm refreshed and ready to dish up a couple of games tomorrow...so let me take a look whats up next. As for the delay on the option file, i can only apologise, but i'm just making a few tweaks here and there..and i was thinking maybe just release that option file once the squads are finalised from June 2nd, what you all think? then you'll have your precise squads and can work out the best lineups and tactics etc?
One other thing, we will have to move quite fast on the second round of friendlies, so once i've set up the fixtures, get me in your tactics. I'll have to give reduced highlights though, maybe just goals, but the match report and stats will still be in depth as usual. Anyway, tonight i'm gonna get some shut eye, tomorrow I'll roll a couple of games, which will be........Spain V Latvia and Greece V Switzerland. I've recieved tactics for Greece and Spain. As for Latvia, anyone know where the manager is?? seems to have gone awol. If he doesn't return, anyone want to take over?

, i just checked my squad update, good effort, it's something great to look at a complete and final squadApologies to everyone, from the lack of stuff lately. I;ve just had a lot to juggle at the moment. What I am doing now, is going to release the final option file, with the finalised squads, with numbers. you will be free to download the option file if you want, and use as a reference. What I am also going to do, if i have time, is release a euro 2004 pc patch, with all the updates i have made, from the welcome screen, replay music, kits, adboards etc etc. The friendlies I have drawn up, so as soon as you get the option file, submit your tactics, I'm gonna get them played really quickly, so we can move on to the tournament proper. I appreciate your patience, and it doesnt mean that I am not commited in organising and hosting a good tournament, its that I want to do this as well as possible. Hopefully you'll stick around and get into this, as when it starts, it'll be a blast. So look out for the option file, it should be pretty much updated and in sync with the final squads lists. I have had to Build Latvia from scratch and I think it's come off well. Just need to update some of the other squads and we'll be ready.
