Ok pes 2008 ML was shite because the gameplay was wack i was refering to earlier 1s.
I agree about matchs - window, matches - window.
But there is nothing better than each window signing a legend with top stats and thats what keeps me playing it. Now they improved the only reseason i played it (negotiations).
Training mode is pointless after a few seasons as the matches themselves become easy enough, why wld you use it anyway. I never.
Switching teams? Why the fuk would, after a few seasons, you change team? By then you'd of started signing some great players and building your team. Why wld you switch for example if you just bought pele, zico and aguero for like god knows how much. It makes no sence. No wonder they didnt include it.
Shallow negotiation system? That was what they spent time this year improving and players moral can be affected if you leave them on the bench resulting in poor condition and low moral. sounds good. A welcome addition.
Next gen this, next gen that. Face it it will be years before we get groundbraking games on a regular basis like cod 4. Look at GTA 4. It was bollocks compared with the hype and it was in development for 4 years!
This games on the pitch gameplay will be really fun to play along with the fact we have:
-2v2 online
-4v4 legends
-Legend mode
- A decent edit mode
- And still the possiblility of Champions league football. Remember they got a new license partnership which is apprently groundbraking in itself.
Plenty to look forward to.
C'mon, the ability to switch teams would be an excellent feature. You said yourself that the matches become easy enough. So when this happens, it would be good if you could start playing as another team and start to build them up whilst staying in the same season. It sounds like you enjoy starting from the very beginning all the time, which is fine, but weve been doing that for years now, and it would be a good alternative if we could just switch to a different team, in a different league, with new players, without losing your overall progress in the Master League.
Yes shallow negotiation system. You offer some pes points, with a limit to what you can offer, then offer a contract of a certain amount of years and a certain amount of pes points, also with a limit to what you can offer. Then thats it. You can be rejected, with no reason why. This would be extremely easy to implement but they just dont bother their arses. Dont say this would be pointless either, cos it would make it more realistic and more interesting than just loading up your earlier save and going back to offer the exact same amount until you get the player, cos they will eventually come.
An in depth training mode would be another welcome feature, it wouldnt be pointless, it would add a whole new dimension to the Master League. It would be a lot more fun in pre-season to actually practice your skills on a real training pitch than just selecting which skills you want to improve and the game then does it automatically for you. This was in previous installments so theres no reason why it couldnt be in pes 2009.
I shouldnt have to 'face it' that were not going to get a next gen pes game. First of all, seabass said he was going to give pes a complete overhaul for pes 2009. If he wasnt going to actually deliver on this then he should have just kept his mouth shut. Also, I dont expect to get groundbreaking games on a regular basis, otherwise they wouldnt be groundbreaking. Pes 2009 doesnt have to be groundbreaking to satisfy me. Its the exact opposite. It doesnt seem like they can deliver a next gen experience so Id rather they just released pro evo 5 with updated teams and better graphics. Seriously, for me thats all they would have to do.
