Thosw arguing for a DVD Rip patch, you can do it yourself now!!!! Yeah I know you are very happy!

Step 1. BUY IT-WE8 from Play Asia, Lik-Sang
Step 2. Get Fernando's patch
Step 3. Get PPF-o-Matic (do a serch before asking)
Step 4. Get Alcohol 120% (do a search before asking)
Step 5. Make an .ISO of the DVD with Alcohol 120%
Step 6. Patch that .ISO with PPF-o-Matic
Step 7. *Theoretically* Run the new Rip-Kit on the .ISO
Step 8. *if nessissary* Create the cue file.
Step 9. Burn the new CD image.
Step 10. Please stop bothering people to release things for you if you are too ignorant to support the game companies.

Easy, and it has been tested and it works, you can use this until the real 100% patch comes out.

i have DVDR and the orignal dvd game & Fernando patch but i dont now how to burn the patch (remove file from orignal or just cut and past the patch ) please help me

This has already been answered. And you need to check the beginner's guide in the sticky thread in the Editing section. Apply the patch to the image with ppf-o-matic3.

using a dvd-rw isn't a bad idea, but keep in mind that some models of playstation2 don't read them.

Ok so i have downloaded tge patch and I have made the ISO file. So how do i now apply the patch to the iso and burn the new version of the game to DVD (using nero ultra)

I wasn't critising him at all. This is incredible how many people will jump on my back just for saying i'll wait for a full translation :eek: . I didn't say his work wasn't appreciated and I didn't say he didn't work hard, but all of a sudden he starts poking me because I said 20% wasn't enough for me.

And Zyg why are you blackmailing me with a ban ? Is it a crime to argue with a patcher ? My views will stay the same and banning me, won't make me change my mind :rolleyes: .

What is also funny is larsson warned me yesterday for insulting a newbie, despite some other silly kid calling me a ''TIT'' in this thread.

Some dudes are abusing their powers, man.

It's not a crime to argue. Insults and name calling is a bit petty though - and you are guilty of doing that far too often.

Also:
1. It wasn't blackmail.
2. I was just wondering how happy you'd be not to have any translation patches ever again ;)
Let's just be grateful and patient. And less bitchy.


This patch plus the evo-web V1 option file (99.5%) makes the game GREAT.

just to add it in, for all you out there having troubles with dvd-r/rw and stuff. i got a normal maxtor hard disk, 40gig, 29 quid from my local wee shoppy, and the ps2 network adaptor from john lewis for 16.99. thats only 45 quid, as much as some new games. now i need never burn another dvd, just hook up my ps2 harddrive to my pc with a usb cable, or in my case internally cause i dont have a hdd caddy, and there are good programs which will transfer an image of a dvd/cd on to it real quickly (about 10mb/s) it makes it real easy to patch games without having to burn multiple dvds (one for each new patch). also all games load quicker. there is also official ps2 hard drives out there, somewhere, but i reckon they will be over priced. oh yeh and it saves on the ps2 laser, cause it only has to use it on startup, not all through the game.

hi.. guys i am quite confused with this dvdr patch. isnt it the same as we always do to the other winning eleven games.. or in order for me to do that i have to wait for the cd rip version..Pls ans my queries

Patch the ISO using ppf-o-matic3 as usual and burn onto DVDR.
If you don't have a DVD-writer, then you'll have to try the ripping method to put it onto CDR.

hi guys,
i patched the dvd iso with ppf-o-matic and this patch, didn't give errors. then i patched it with DR_XRAY_W8_DVD_SLPM_656.57 and burned the iso. boots fine till the playstation logo then just black. cannot even reset, have to power cycle the ps2. any idea if it could be one of the two patches gone bad?

Thats the main part of an argument Zyg, everyone name calls and insults each other, even Tony ''Arse Kissing'' Blair insults rival conservatives. Whats funny is how much attention I got from Fernando and i'm just a nobody member at PESInsight :) .
And their is no way that I would not be able to obtain translation patches, theirs is no way I can be stopped from doing it, thats like trying to stop every human being in this world from driving without a license :rolleyes: it's almost impossible.
Where did this bitching come from ? I wasn't bitching, saying ''i'm gonna wait'' has no bitchiness, not even a drop of bitchiness. Anyway I went to my mates today and got an extra DVD-R. I have just finished adding this patch to my WE8 image, so I'm supporting Fernandos work and still have 1 more DVD-R left for the next patch. Which is nice innit ? :)

i don relly understand the link from the german website. and patching the fernando patch onto my we8 with cdr will not cause any problems to the audio or video part of the gane right.. Pls assist me.. Cant wait to have an eng working alright copy of we8
