The beginner guide is about PES 3 no Pes 4 , there is a part that talks about a file that you have to touch for removing the disc protection of course this file does not exist becouse Pes 4 is different than the 3rd!!

For me the game is cool but it's still in Japan yet!!

c if i downloaded the patch .....would I have to burn it on 2 a DVDR or CD-R as my computer only has a CD-R/RW Drive?

hi fernando! my name is kev! i had winning eleven 8 but i really need the patch to understand. Do I need a dvd burn on my computer for this patch? or just regular cd rewrite is good in up to burn in a cd for we8! please show me how to unpatch thanx!

The Beginner's guide to patching is here

Use ppf-o-matic3 to apply this patch to the ISO of your WE8 and then burn using Nero/Alcohol 120% etc. Stop asking how to use this patch and read the guides.

hey. awesome news about the patch. been waiting ages. just a query which is similar to the guy above i think *he talks jibberish*.
i currently have a cdr version of we8 can i get this to a dvd iso??? if so how. basically hoW can i patch my current cd version. i have dvd rewriter so dvd burns are possible.

i used the DVD Decrypter to make the WE8 .ISO image (size about 2.4+ gig) and ppf-o-matic3 for applying the patch then burn the image using Nero with 1x speed(the slowest speed)....but still i cant play the patched WE8 version why is that? btw im using the V4 mod chip (using the AR2 and a boot disc). and did the whole process again with another new DVD-R disc....n same result...

Is it because of the DVD-R disc(purple) im using..? Some DVD disc are Gold and Silver....

Not yet. You need one of the option files for english player names.

just as a matter of interest.. ive found a bin/cue that you burn to disc and load in your ps2 and save to memory card.. it containt a 98% translation for winning eleven 8

im pretty new to this forum, so someone advise me as to what to do and i'll gladly share it with you

yeah i heard of this programme would be very handy for all on here, as it allows any save to be copied to the memory card, been after it for ages now.

Yep i have that, it works great, just burn the bin cue on a cdr and boot with it and load the saves on ur MEMcard and reboot with WE8 u wil see that u wil have 99% al names in english and al the things in WEshop.

Best thing what u can do is get the new fernando patch and this memcard saves then u wil be hooked up real with WE8.
