Why not? I remember sending off game designs about ten years ago. Got a week long stint at Psygnosis (the original creators of Wipeout) in Liverpool, but failed to get through. They had us designing levels using the original Quake level design technology. BTW I can't program. I'd need someone to do that!
My idea for a football game would have some major differences from Pro Evo and FIFA. For one, forget about image rights/sponsorship. Aint happening. Too expensive. Would have to start as simply the blue versus the red team (or green, yellow purple).
Dynamics wise though this is what I want to see. I want to see fluid body motion. I want to see players building up significant speed (a la Ronaldo), but then the control of the player would be severly hampered. For example, Ronaldo could make sharp turns and shimmies at slight angles at top speed, but wouldnt be able to stop immeadiately. Therefore, you would have a trade off. Lets say your defender is pegging it after a striker, the striker simply side steps, and the defender cannot stop his run, and ends up over running. PES does have these concepts in a very basic form, but not in a very realistic way. I want to see the players I'm controlling almost running on ice (not that extreme, but you get the point). A skilled player would be able to run at top speed at an opponent, and then use momentum to dodge/fly by the defender. A player with lesser skill would either run into the defender, or end up mis controlling the player/ball.
I want to re-create the whole body dynamics of football. Imagine playing a footie game and doing the Pele body swerve of the 1970 Mexico World Cup. How cool would that be? (only this time, you'd score from it).
Well, designing a Football game would be a dream for me.. would love to do it, but unfortunately I don't know the first thing about programing, etc, etc..
However, I am 100% certain that PES can be much better, and that Konami takes it SLOW on purpose.
And again, I don't know much about programing or anything that regards that -but- I think Konami and EA Sports should have someone (or a couple of people) who works as the Director of the game, or the Architect of the game.
You know, because probably many of the Teams who work on games such as FIFA and PES aren't the most experienced people Football-Wise. There are people that might NOT know how to deal with a computer, but regardless of that have an outstanding Football knowledge.
And then again, maybe there is someone who does that Job, maybe Seabass does that job. But regardless, I think that having one or a couple of Football experts would facilitate the job of Konami. Just having someone to play the game, analize the game -and- say what needs to be done. In other words, something similar to the relationship between an Engineer and an Architect.
The Engineers are the ones who really do the work -and- the Architect does the design and gives the direction. Again, maybe Konami and EA Sports have someone who does something similar. But having even more help and ideas from Football Experts can only help.
And by Football Experts I mean people who have actually taken the time to watch Football in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, all the way to the Modern Era. Football Fans who have a clear IDEA of how Football has changed through the years -and- of how great players are supposed to play, and of what great football really is.
In short, Football fans who really understand Football. Football fans who acknowledge that Football is team game -and- that the best TEAMS aren't always made by the best INDIVIDUALS. And that in order to produce a proper Football game you MUST establish Fundamental Differences between Different Players and Different Positions.
That is the knowledge that seems to be missing in current Football simulation games -something- that can be evidenced by simply playing the games and experiencing all the flaws; Average players making incredible runs and dribbles, a limited set of Stats and Special Abilities that cannot establish Important differences between players like Ballack and Riquelme, skillful players CONSISTENTLY giving the ball away cheaply, etc, etc..
But anyways, you mentioned the "Dinamics and body motions" -and- I also think that is something that must be addressed soon -Because- by playing the game you can see that really skillful players such as Messi, Robinho, and Cristiano Ronaldo kind of give the ball away easily.. I usually win the ball by simply running in front of the attackers, because they ALWAYS touch the ball too far -and- that is how I always win the ball so easily.
We should work harder in order to win the ball back because gifted players such as Leo Messi rarely give the ball away like that. That is, that Defenders should steal the ball -NOT- the other way around; attackers practically giving the ball away to the defenders.
I think skillful players should be harder to defend -while- at the same time, Defenders should be better equipped to deal with such skillful players. Meaning that Defensive Play should also have more depth and substance to it.
So I think skillful players should have even better movements and changes of speed to make them harder to defend -while- world class Defenders should have better tackling, marking, responsiveness, and positioning in order to defend against the most gifted players.
There must be a balance between Attackers and Defenders -as- a game that discourages defending and makes attacking EASY -will- always be boring and mediocre.
