It would be quite handy if Bowditch plays like he does in the game, in real life.

meecrob: In the game, I’ve found the best performers to be Westlake, Bowditch, Super Sammy Parkin, Richards and Barron (the latter two play well at wing back) Parkin and Bowditch probably form the best partnership up front.

Our 'regulars' this season haven't necessarily been our best players, due to injuries - especially in the striking department. My best 11 in real life, would differ to the best 11 in the game. Are you playing an updated version of the game with all the latest transfers or as they were to begin with?

Oh no, I had the perfect defensive partnership of Kompany and Deschadt but then Kompany had a cruciate ligament problem.

Gone for 9 months :shocking:

This was about 6 months ago, so I look at him now with 3 months left on his injury and his stats are useless. For a centre-back his heading has gone from 18 to 10, his marking from 16 to 13, his tackling from 20 to 15. I was offered 10 million for him by Milan (pre-injury), I rejected but now I can't wait to get rid of him.

They build up dude, I had Brazillian Ronaldo out for 9 months aswell, but he returned to form as a couple of games

The problem is I bought in a cheap replacement called German Re with accents on the two 'E's'. His stats are:

Heading: 19
Tackling: 20
Marking: 20
Pace: 13
Strength: 16
Passing: 14
Positioning: 18

These are pretty good and German is young (23). So I would be hard pushed to drop him.

I decided I might loan him out for a season, and see if he regains his form. It would also let me earn some money, I could see a club pay me 3 or 4 million pounds for a season long loan of him. I might even do a 1/2 season loan come the Jan transfer window.

Also check out a player called Matias Campos who plays for Audax Italiano. The guy is 16 and already has all the stats you need in a winger or striker.

i'm playing the 6.02 version. i know that there's a newer patch but i don't wanna download it because there's no one that made a no-cd .exe version(so that i don't have to insert the cd everytime i play)

sammy parkin is amazing in the game. i sold bowditch though

What happened to Championship Manager All Stars? It was a game slated for many, many years ago which was only going to include legendary players and teams. Would've been interesting to play.

Liverpool Jonny??? Sortitoutsi is a brilliant site, great for face packs etc.

I started a season with the scum (Man Utd) and in my first 12 games, my keeper has limped off injured in 4, different keepers each time. Why??? My keepers have been Steele, Van Der Sar, Howard and Kameni. I tend to make alot of changes so dont keep a keeper on the bench...i do now ofcourse. Incidentally, ive gone on to score after the injury in every game.

Rafa, don't cheat as I want to do a comparison of what players you buy etc.

I'm using 6.0.3 though so we'll probably find huge differences if you're using an earlier version as I've noticed players whose stats have been "fixed" to reflect the fact they're not world class.

You're not wrong there - though Parkin got a long injury lay-off when I was in charge.

At Forest, following Ipswich's promotion, I secured Bowditch on a season-long loan (having been both Town's and the league's top scorer the previous season) where he only managed one goal here. I terminated his contract before the season was out......and he went back scoring goals for Ipswich in the prem.

Where did you sell him to and how much for?
