Have patience, in my game Okaka has made it to the regular squad :w00t But my game is weird, Atletico Madrid is dominating the whole of Europe, Spain won the WorldCup and Twente FC won the Eredivisie :/

:laugh: It's only February 2008 in mine and already:

-Boavista finished the previous season second in the Portuguese league with Porto seventh
-PSG won the French title but sacked their coach because they're currently sixth
-Lyon finished seventh and are fifth this season (after sacking Houllier)
-Red Star Belgrade qualifed ahead of Roma and Steaua Bucharest (and behind Arsenal) from the CL group phase, conceding just three goals and only losing once. Now they've just won their first leg tie at home to Inter 3-2
-Lazio are second in Serie A, battling it out with Roma and Sampdoria while Inter are a very distant fifth
-Partizan Belgrade are flirting with relegation <--- wtf? :huh:
-Dida has conceded three goals in 24 games (something wrong here, clearly) and his personality is "jovial" but he never ever smiles in real life.

Just makes me love the game even more

I'm in October 2009, and my players seem to play wank when they feel like it, I can win like 10 games in a row, then lose 10 in a row, it's annoying, have 3 home games in a row in the Prem, I'm expecting 9 points as they are against Everton, Newcastle and Bolton.

I do so well in Europe but shit in the Prem.

Gerrard is out for 6 games after headbutting Cambiasso (couldn't of done it to a better player :tongue

Then Kuyt, Bellamy and Soldado are all out injured :mellow:

Only have Crouch, Okaka, Quinn and Fowler that can play up front :mellow:

I'm stuffed if Okaka stops scoring, Okaka stops scoring = bad, as my other strikers can't score at all, going to sell some players in Jan as I keep going in debt.

The board and fans are only satisfied with my so far, even though I was 17th this time last season and they were pleased and very pleased with being 17th :mellow:

Currently fourth with half the season gone with Wigan, sold Baines to Tottenham for 8.5m and got Pocognoli as his replacement for 1.4m. Used the leftover money to sign James Beattie for 5m and Naismith for 350k. I play a high tempo game launching long balls onto the head of Beattie and Heskey.

I sold Scharner to Ajax for 7m in Jan. and I've got Andres Guardado coming if he gets a work permit. That'll leave me with 5m to get a decent DM as a replacement.

Guardado should get a permit, and he is ace, my scouts said he was double the ability of my best left winger which was Gonzalez, and he is pretty damn good.

Can make runs down the left all the time and can hit great crosses in and even score the odd goal, he improves dramatically over the seasons.

Juventus and Fiorentina are battling relegation, while Sampdoria like in your game is doing very well as is Roma and Gimnastic is on Barcelona's heels in the LL. Also, Top Oss is above PSV and AZ :/

My players are all beans though, I comment "I'll eat my hat if we lose" and next thing you know they are complaining about the added pressure :/ You know what they say though, can't take the heat get out of the kitchen :/

Bought Ochoa last season for 5.5m from America (MEX), just sold him to Barca for 17m and nearly got myself out of debt :w00t

I think it also means he leads the European goal scorers charts (League, Cup, Continental goals)

I think that he will win Striker and possible footballer of the year.

Haha! From what I remember probably 2nd Week of November, I got into it too much and it affected my sleep pattern badly! So last time I looked I saved the game on 13th December, but started a new game with Farsley Celtic.

in the middle of the world cup with USA and just knocked sweden out in the second round.

With Coventry just signed Gareth Bale =D

already have other young stars such as Freddy Adu, Lebohang Mokoena, Vincenzo Palmeri (very talented keeper) and Josmer Altidore (american striker who scores for fun and can get permit due to french 2nd nationality.)

Finished my 2nd season with Valencia. Only got both Supercups and Club World Championship. Lost La Liga with Barcelona, the CL in the Final with Inter (cheated by the Italians) and La Copa del Rey with Barca in the Quarter Finals. Not a bad season, but not th best for sure.

Klose was (and is) the best player in my squad. Check this:



He cant be the Pichichi because I cant use him in the last 4 matches for a injury and Eto´o was with 26 goals I think. But Klose was a god really, my team really need him on the pitch. Also he was the Top Assister.

The Transfer Window open and I bought:

And I sold:
Fabian Estoyanoff (2.5m to Rangers)
Rafael Sobis (14m to Lyon. Wants to get more money but nobody wants him and Lyon only offer 14m)
And 7 players loaned out.

In some big transfers things like this happened:

Real Madrid sign Michael Essien from Chelsea for 45m

Now I started my 3rd season, with a nightmare start: Sevilla, Barcelona, Atletico and Chelsea in the CL (in my group are: Chelsea, Ajax and Celtic hmy.
Won over Sevilla 0-1 and won over Barca 1-2 (Bentder did fantastic, same as Klose).
