Just finished 2nd season as Alfreton Town, finished 9th in the league, where the board wanted me to finish, and the board have told me they weren't happy with my final position :huh:

Starting my 3rd season now, I'm enjoying it heaps, lower league managing is good.

Just had my new intake of youth players, and I've got a Craig Wright-Phillips who has come up and my assaisant manager is excited as he looks to be the best youth player to come through the ranks in recent years, maybe Chelsea will sign him, family reunion :w00t

Someone try once with Carlos Vela, from Arsenal? Im trying on get him on loan from them, he is doing pretty good and a lot of clubs are interested in him.
I was try for Okaka, but he is on loan in some Italian club and I need a striker badly, cos Klose is still injured (still 3 months), Huntelaar is very injury prone and Moreira (come from Valencia Mestalla) is injured for 2 months and he isnt so good, and Bendtner is my only striker then.

Vela and Okaka become great strikers, some of the best in the world.

4 games in at Pompey and I'm pretty pleased with how I'm doing, and some of the transfers I've made.

Okaka not good in his first season? 3 goals in his first game speak differently my friend. Just beaten Cardiff 3-1 in the cup, can you guess who scored them?

Wow, I got him for Cagilari on loan in my first season only managed like 5 goals in 15 games. O well, he turns out brillant so he cares

:laugh:. He was at Roma as a kid, and I tried to have him away, but he wasn't having it claiming he had a lot more to learn. He signed a pro contract at Roma a few days later, my bid of £1m was accepted (good price seeing as he was going to cost me £1.2m in compo) I've also got Suazo coming in, but not until next year as he is out on loan.

Attack was proved the best form of defence as Portsmouth came from behind against Middlesbrough, and the front line of Doula and Huntelaar really proved it's worth, as in the second half 1-0 down from an early Viduka strike Portsmouth came out battling and Doula put through Huntelaar who finished into an open goal, only for Woodgate to put it away and take it from the tally of Huntelaar. The frontline combined 17 minutes later for the winner, as Doula again played through Huntelaar who duly converted.

Wigan next away, all their strikers are out, mwhaha.

1-1 Draw, they were all over me, nonetheless Huntelaar popped up yet again and put us ahead, we fell alseep and they got the second from a free-kick that wasn't cleared, it was away so I'll take it. West Ham at home next, hmm. Drew Arsenal away in the cup

Can't be as bad on my Alfreton game, got Conference North/South teams in all 3 FA Cup qualifying rounds, then I got a League 1 team in the first round :huh:

:laugh: Can you recommend a decent CB? Got to be pacy, Campbell and Primus are suffering from "let's make the players shite because they are never in the papers for good stuff whilst we were programming the game" syndrom.

CB..hhmmmm not one of my favourite positions in FM, all of mine seem to be shit.

But try Agger if you can afford him, very handy on my FM game. Or try Betao from Corinthians, is quite solid, don't know how he would do in Europe though. You could try Kieran Murphy aswell, though I doubt he'll be good enough for the Prem, plus he's slower then Campbell :huh:

Great, fined Murphy 1 weeks wages for kicking a player and out of my 30 first team players, 9 of them are complaining that I fined him, can't they just mind their own business.
