First off, apologies for the quality, I've yet to get the hardware to be able to record directly from my PS3 onto my laptop - and I don't think I can on this one anyhow.

I've been watching a lot of football recently, so thought it would be worth while setting about creating a formation thread to correct the undoubted default errors Konami will include.

I'll post a picture of the formation with sliders - again apologies in advance for the quality, I will endeavour to improve them as I continue.

Please note that as I'm using an unhacked PS3 demo version I have to use other teams to showcase the formations.

I love using that website. So much fun for offline play.

Never had much luck using their formations online tho. A little to compact maybe.

Talking of formations, a lot of ppl last year used formations made purely from (high) strikers (6 speed merchants) + (low) defenders, with absolutely no midfield, with a lot of success.

Hope the new game rectifies this.

Just tried the Swansea 4.2.3.1 in demo 2 for Man United and it seemed to work well. Evra and Rafeal were always pretty far up field and the tight midfield allowed me to dominate large parts of the game.

Good stuff Sminky, Looking forward to trying out some more:D

Tried this out today and worked pretty well but I lowered the defensive line a little as players like Pirlo kept getting the ball in behind me.
