Translation by Systran:

PES Fans, here the last infos on Winning Eleven 7. If one believes the magazine Dengeki PlayStation of it, an option will make it possible from now on to direct the goalkeeper manually, and more only in a semi-automatic way. As much to say that the cries insincerely on the goalkeeper who perforated himself will not take place any more to be, even if one waits to see how Konami managed this new parameter. As certain images seemed to indicate it, it will be possible to put two arrows of direction, and either only one, for the Offensive/Defensive Attitude of such or such player. The capacities of the players will be indicated by a hexagonal diagram in more of the statistics traditional. A system of small arrows will make it possible to facilitate the comparisons of statistics between two players, for faster replacements. Lastly, those which do not want to pass by heaps of complicated menus will be able to use tactical combinations already configured as a preliminary, not to pass too much from time individually to change formation, placement of players, arrows and strategies of match. During the matches, one learns that the player will be able to choose the type of cursor above the head of the player one. Always side interfaces, a small indication will appear on the screen when the referee lets play the advantage. The pretences will be assigned to R2 and the right stick. The Japanese players connected to network PS2 will be able to also compare their scores on the Training mode via a national classification. Lastly, one learned that there would be 13 categories of options to buy in store WE-SHOP, with a baptized currency WEN. The exit of Winning Eleven 7 is scheduled for August 7 in Japan.

"The pretences will be assigned to R2 and the right stick"
This is probably the new Zidane turn move. And maybe more moves can be done using this method?

"those which do not want to pass by heaps of complicated menus will be able to use tactical combinations already configured as a preliminary..."
Sod that!

The Boss
- Goalkeeper's can be manually brought out of their goal to intercept players. This something which was seen in the ISS series
- Player's can now be instructed to operate in two directions as you can now set 2 arrows as opposed to last year's game where you could only set one attacking or defensive setting
- When the referee plays the advantage rule there will be an on-screen indicator showing this
- Tactical changes can now be made much easier with the use of pre-configured styles
- Japanese players, using the network connection, will be able to compare training scores
- In the WE-Shop there will be 13 categories each with different items inside

The zidane trick move can probably be done by pressing R2 and then turn your right stick 360 degrees, i think this is great!! because so your move can always fail so its not like '' ah there is just one man standing in front of the keeper huppa r2 and right stick huppa im passed'' i really think you must practice very good on this, but i think its great what fo you think guys???

Cheers

this sounds like a good idea as it will require skill to pull off successfully. not like in fifa when a complete beginner can ballet dance through the oppositions defence.

Yeah i used to hate that on FIFA where you could do that turn all the time and get passed the defenc ereally easy.

Salut Manu,

There is a site somewhere which has a huge list of PES/WE sites -like a hundred or more. I can't find it right now. If I do, I'll let you know.

Japan makes most of the good things so it's easier for them to get them. We'll have to wait a bit to catch up.
Well done on your post count. good stuff.

Pro Evolution Soccer 3 Details

By: D. F. Smith July 9, 2003 10:17 AM PDT
Pro Evolution Soccer 3, the European version of the upcoming Winning Eleven 7, will see release in PAL territories this November, Konami announced today. That leaves the United States as the odd man out, but given the critical success of Winning Eleven 6, we shouldn't expect to be left in the cold this time around.
Pro Evolution Soccer 3 is to add a raft of new features to an already top-notch simulation. The Master League mode now has four divisions for teams to work their way up the ranks, and an entirely new Shop mode lets players spend points on unlocking hidden extras -- stadiums, teams, players, customization parts, and more.

The revised game engine adds a new level of player detail, and 80% of the game's animations are new, giving players authentic movements as well as looks. AI and ball physics have been similarly upgraded to let players react realistically to specific situations, using the moves they would in a real game. Facial expressions are more detailed, and injuries during a season are reflected by extra accessories like bandages and braces.

NEW STADIUMS JOIN THE EXISTING SELECTION TO OFFER MORE AVAILABLE HOMES FOR NEW LICENSED CLUB TEAMS!! The state of the crowd will also reflect the popularity of a team and the weather -- a summer game for a popular club will feature a large crowd in warm-weather clothes, while only a few bundled-up fans will go to see a losing squad in the winter.

Pro Evolution Soccer 3 will support eight players with two multitaps in the multiplayer game, while solo players can use the traditional player-switching model or choose to play as just one team member for the entire game, a la Sega's Virtua Striker titles. We'll have more on Konami's soccer sim as new details arise, especially if an American release is confirmed.
