Hi,

I burned my patch of kits onto the Pro Evo file and have now got it all on CD. I'm browsing through it and the collars seem to funny on the kits, they're all like luminous green and not part of the actual kit... like there is part of it missing?

Is there anyway to fix this??

Please say someone can help!! Thanks

you must change the opacity of those luminuos colors. You must set this at transparent colors

If you re a beginner, using WE Graphics Editor, the safest choice is to go to Settings and on the tab where you get to choose the default transparent color check the first checkbox that says sth like: "when opening .bmp's turn all colors opaque except the default transparent color".

Be sure to have the correct color for transparency though, because yesterday I ran into some kits on the web where they had some luminous purple for transparent color.

I've used WEPES Graphics studio... what I did was go through and pick out the kits from the auto_150_uni folder. Dragged the bigger kit of the two (512) into the big window on the right and set the opacity to 0% then drag the kit back to its original position. Is this right?? Some of the luminous/fluresecent colours were blue though and yes I think there was a purple too?

I know I have done something wrong as the kits now won't load up in the in game editor where they would before. Is it because I only did the bigger kit of the two? Is my DATA_E.afs file now too corrupt to try and rectify by the method explained above???

Please help!!!

Thanks

Nope. Not really.
Opacity is the opposite of transparency. So, you shouldn't set it to 0% you should set it to 100%, right?

It seems that you have to hit "Apply" for the changes to take effect but that wasn't the case with me (it didn't seem to function or I didn't know how to separate transparent from the rest of the colors after opening a BMP). So here's what to do to insert a kit without the collar problem.

1. Go to menu "Options" and choose "Settings..." (the only choice)

OR

1. Press F10

2. Go to the first tab ("Color Options").

3. Click the first checkbox ("When opening BMP's turn all colors opaque except default transparent color") so that it is checked.

4. Press "OK"

5. Open a new Windows Explorer and browse to the kit you want to insert. Open it and make sure that the transparent color is the same as the one you have chosen as default in the same tab as above.

6. Right-click on the right section of the programme below a label that reads "Bitmap Info" when you first open WE PES Graphics Studio.

7. From the pop-up menu choose "Open..." and browse to the kit you want to insert.

8. Notice that Opacity (on the right) has a value of 100%.

That should do it. That 's how it worked for me, anyway.

I am not very experienced myself. Follow these steps carefully and if you still have problems post your question, but please read carefully first.

If you leave all settings (apart from the above explained) as they are by default, the programme makes the necessary changes to the size of the bitmap and replaces the small one as well. If the BMP does not fit, colors are reduced so that it does. So if you haven't messed up the settings I don't think you 've done something wrong. If your data_e.afs is corrupted (I don't know if inserting kits can corrupt it, but I don't think so) just extract it again from the ISO file. And make sure you make copies next time. ;)

Excelent reply, immortale.
And if i might add, If you're using WEPES Graphics studio, download the latest version (4.10.10) and you get an extra option: "Set Collar type" if you right-click over the *.bin. If you're not using the waterloo editor, this is a excelent way to fix all collars. Keep in mind that "Lapel" are the pointy collars (Benfica home, Hertha away) and the "Round" are the regular ones (all Nike 90 kits, for example).

I hope i've been helpfull.
