Getting the polish into PES4...

Everyone complains about the lack of licenses in PES4 and the lack of overall spit and polish. What about this as a solution?

Let's all lobby Sega/ESPN to pursue Konami to form a partnership for the international marketing of Pro Evolution 4 (or a re-released version of Pro Evo 3 :). Sega have produced a fine range of products to rival (and, arguably, surpass) the EA stable of sports products (NBA 2k4, NFL 2k4, NHL 2k4), but noticeably absent from this list is a soccer title - and wouldn't it be the perfect fit for Sega's ESPN franchise! Desperate to promote their international credibility as a soccer broadcaster, ESPN/Sega can throw pots of money at buying the licenses, improving the menus and prettying up the graphics (and, maybe even porting the game to the Xbox...) and they will yet again trump EA in the sports stakes. Ok, so we may have to put up with that annoying old Irish guy from ESPN commentating, but how much worse could it be than the current commentary!

So, I say bring on ESPN Pro Evolution...

Thoughts?

I don`t want that to happend. Konami is far away better than SEGA and forget ESPN. You must be an American, it`s not soccer it`s football :).

it would be cool because after each round of matches you could watch an in game version of ESPN sports centre which shows highlights of the matches.

Yeah I've always thought this to be a good idea. The in-game score couldbe just like the one on TV with the Sky sports logo on it. At the start of the game when they show the team line-ups Andy Gray could do his squiggly arrows thing that he does show attack attitudes etc. Menus would look so much better
