Everyone complains about the lack of licenses in PES4 and the lack of overall spit and polish. What about this as a solution?
Let's all lobby Sega/ESPN to pursue Konami to form a partnership for the international marketing of Pro Evolution 4 (or a re-released version of Pro Evo 3
. Sega have produced a fine range of products to rival (and, arguably, surpass) the EA stable of sports products (NBA 2k4, NFL 2k4, NHL 2k4), but noticeably absent from this list is a soccer title - and wouldn't it be the perfect fit for Sega's ESPN franchise! Desperate to promote their international credibility as a soccer broadcaster, ESPN/Sega can throw pots of money at buying the licenses, improving the menus and prettying up the graphics (and, maybe even porting the game to the Xbox...) and they will yet again trump EA in the sports stakes. Ok, so we may have to put up with that annoying old Irish guy from ESPN commentating, but how much worse could it be than the current commentary!
So, I say bring on ESPN Pro Evolution...
Thoughts?
