Thanks for the quality tips!

I've actually learnt how to take free kicks now :D!!

One thing....

if I have Beckham on a right sided free kick is there anyway I can change who takes the free kick when I already have it? Like if beckham is stood ready to take the free kick is there any way I can change the taker?

uhh...press start, select "select kicker", select your player who you want to take the free kick...(you never knew this???)

Beckham isn't as efficient as in the previous game, he's only good in smooth and curved shot. I prefer Recoba or Veron to send a real thunder shot in the box, and the tech is really different for that kind of kicker... stop me if i say rubbish.

Press Select to add another kicker or swap his position.
Hold R3 to add power to his manual pass (a tap is enough) and then press shoot and your free kick taker will blast it.
I always use this for close F.K.'s, quite useful, the have the stand-over guy, hold L1 and then shoot or whatever. This makes the stand-over/tap it guy take a shot.

Well I have to bring this up. I used to have a pretty decent scoring average with FKs in PES3 from ranges between 21-30 meters. I didn't score a single one yet in PES4.
Any tips on what I should do differently? (I.E, need more power, less curve, etc.)
What I used to do is use someone with good FK and curve, put the ball between the furthest guy in the wall and the post, fill the bar up between 50%-65% (depending on range), use R1 for long and R2 for short range, and curve it to the post.
New ideas anyone?
(clarification: I used to follow Giggsy's guide, more or less, for a point of reference).
Cheers
