Yep, the keepers are about 75 times better in PES6 than in WE10 although I'm seeing quite a few silly drops and rebounds.
The keepers in WE10 literally did spoil the game, which was unfortunate. Yet to get my hands on PES6, although I'm liking the sound of improvement for the keepers. It's fairly realistic however for the keepers to fumble the simplest of balls at times, lack of concentration more than anything so I guess Konami have done well. Wouldn't be 'that' good if all the keepers were unbeatable.
Since I'm already posting, just like to ask as I don't think I'll be getting the game within the next few weeks: Is there a way the keepers can drop-kick the ball ? (I've heard a double tap of Square does the trick, not sure about the truth behind this though).
the goalkeepers in pes6 are absolutely afwul. they drop evrything or just knock the ball into the goal. i cant believe how bad it is. really does spoil the game in my opinion. too easy to score. anyone else feel the same way???
The keepers to spoil the game slightly. I have discovered a new 'dirt goal' - basically shoot quite hard from any angle to the left or right of the goal, the keeper covers the near post and parry's it into the centre of the goal for the striker to tap in. Also i did a triple circle cross with owen - no one in the box and the keeper decieded to hit it backwards off himself into the goal. AT LEAST it gave it as an own goal i suppose. Owen was embaressed.
This always happens in reality, hence poaching.
However for your second point, it is just plain stupidity, althugh to be fairer it has been happening since about PES4.
Great recovery save by the Reading keeper:

Although he did make a hash of it to create the chance in the first place.....
