Waiting....
I haven't made it to Algonquin yet, and I can't wait. I've tried driving my way through the barriers, but I keep getting blown to smithereens.

I've just lost nearly a week on this & today is the first time i've seen the light of day since last thursday. Man it's addictive. Not without it's issues mind, the swinging chase camera when driving cars is a touch annoying, but the bonnet can view makes up for it.

As for Lil' Jacob, the man is a dude. Although I wish the guy would shell out and get a cab sometimes instead of calling me for a bloody lift when i'm miles away.

hah, he's not the only one mate, they all call you to pick them out when you want to go somewhere with them..
The best advice I give you is to take cabs.. it's the fastest way to get there.

Already on the cab malarkey. Not much else to spend the cash on after all...

jacob is the only one pestering for lifts though. Brucie just wants to play in his chopper & Roman whinges for a drink. Only one whose a 'good' friend is Dwayne & he never calls :crymore:

Yeah, had that last night! First time he's called me for non mission stuff. A tad worrying. Beginning to think i killed the wrong guy...

Dwayne's a real sad cunt, keeps calling me wanting sex.

You still talking GTA BD?

It would be great if they set the new GTA in some Mediterranean area, with all these small towns and some larger ones. Maybe something like the Amalfi Coast?

At least the character will be well-dressed, being in Italy and all.

Might suffer the same issues as San Andreas though with the barren open areas...

Worse still, nearly all women from the med go from being very attractive to short, shrivelled and mustache ridden by the age of 35 :shifty:

Ditch the Burgershot and the Cluckin Bell, all we'll be eating are meatballs and spaghetti :smug:

To be honest I like barren open areas. The pinnacle will be a GTA game with huge cities like GTAIV but the rural areas of San Andreas in between, with perhaps a few smaller towns (not like San Andreas, but proper small towns, a decent size). Not particularly the deserts, but the countryside and mountain were fantastic. GTAIV misses a mountain, it was one of the best features in any GTA game.

You could really imagine England working well like this. Have 3 main cities (London, Birmingham and Manchester) and towns like Oxford and other smaller areas in between.

Italy is a good idea though too Barry mate, driving along the mountain roads would be wankable.

Fair point about the mountain, but open grasslands and aimless roaming were a chore after the initial 'wow, how big?' factor wore off. The proper skippable taxi/train journeys are a blessing in this incarnation.

Have to admit that i'd like to see an England version, especially as the only real attempt so far was frankly dismal.

Laying waste to parts of Birmingham would be truly epic.
