jag, if you followed the guide exactly, the file you should patch should be called "patchablePES3cdrip.bin"
[from steps 16 & 17 - remember to make a backup of the bin/cue first so you don't need to repeat the ripping process again]

-or whatever you called this instead.

jag, if you're near the end of the ripping process, maybe you can explain any problems you had? Or are problems caused by people using PCs with a few files missing?

Instead of burning with CDRWIN I burned with Alchohol 120% on the PLaystation 2 settings. It came to the blue screen on slide card and then Caput! It went to the black screen and crashed it seems. I have posted on another thread so sorry about multiple posts!

yo i tried 2 load up the 5.1.04 patch but it wudnt load up. an error message appears saying that the file features an unknown coding method???

jonney, do you have WinRAR? You need to unrar all the .rar patches so they become a .ppf file first.

jag, try to burn an unpatched version of your image and see if that works first.

Help.

I've Still not been successful in this patching lark.

I'm trying again now.

I have followed the guide implicitly up to step 16. I am now applying JB's 1.12.03 patch and 1.12.03 - 08.01.04 update.

I've tried ECCRegen and it only finds a small % of the errors cdmage finds.

I check with cdmage after each patch and get heaps of errors. I repair the ones it will repair.

My questions are - Should I get so many errors (60 odd thousand)? Do I re-build the ones it can't repair?

It's begining to drive me mad.

Please help.

Hello im in need of help. I have searched threads for my problem but has not come up. I have tried these steps over and over but still not working.

In the guide it says:

"Then run dvdscan2 to remove the dvd check on the 'SLES_519.12' file"

When I try to do this it comes up with "illegal file type" and nothing happens. I have downloaded "IOPRP271.IMG" and "DNAS271.IMG" files and put them in the 'patched dvdrip PES3' folder.

Also I cannot find the 'pes3.bat' file (step 10) or the 'SOCCER3.ISO' file (step 11).

I couldn't find anything on these subjects as everyone else seems to be fine with these steps and doesn't have the same problems as me. Yes I know what your thinking 'retard', but I am stuck and I really need help, I really want to patch my Pes3, please help.

1. You need to have all files in the same folder, then open DVDScan2 and load the SLES file, I´ve tried many times and it always worked

2. Also the bat file must be in the same folder, the bat file is included in the ripkit, since the guide says you have to extract the content of the ripkit I think you´re not exactly following the guide, I can´t help you if you don´t do what the guide says ;)

HELP!
when I use IsoBuster there I can get down the file 'tree' like DVD | Sessions 1 | Track 1. There however is no RED ISO button like in the picture you posted back in Novemeber Larsson. Ive tried version 1.5 and have just tried version 1.1 but to no avail.

ANy help would be much appreciated!

Ive managed to get round the problem by using another computer (my laptop) I installed version 1.2 on that I think and it worked.

The first IsoBuster I use was 1.5 and I think that this version may have not had the facility for the RED Iso button. After uninstalling it and trying the earlier version I think 1.5 may have left something in the registry / program files folder which stops the earlier versions from using the Red Iso button option.

I suspect this because I used a registration key for version 1.5 and after uninstalling it and using earlier versions they never asked me for a registration key so there was obviously something left over.

The only other possibilities are that I used a detected registration key (i got it off Kazaa so other people may have used the saem key) which stopped me using all the features or that there was something on my computer (wrong drivers etc) which stopped by DVD player being able to perform the correct function.

Anyway Im now upto stage 17 where I have to use PPFOmatic and install a patch but for the first version I want to make i just want to have an exact replica of the original retail game (the one ive done all this from) How do i go about doing this?

Got a problem,

when I run cdmage (step 13) and try to open'soccer.iso' I cannot find it and I also cannot find 'model '2048'.

Where do I find these when I press open.

I'm getting there slowley, please can someone point me in the right direction.
