The partial translation patches sorted it out.
It's:-
Mask,
Mask colour,
Cap,
Cap colour,
Wrist Band,
Ankle Taping,
Sleeves length,
and so on.
Only keepers can wear a cap. There's 8 colours available. They look snazzy!
Only outfield players can have wrist bands.
I've recently been told (thanks to Placebo) that the Jap letters in pairs have the meanings as follows:
the word with the last letter that looks like a 'y' means Yes.
the word with the last letter that looks like a backwards 'J' means No.
This will help in the game options.

There are four Division 1s.
You choose your team and then your 'region' out of north, east south and west. Each region has the teams from that part of Europe. There's a list for those somewhere.
You start in Div 2 with 8 low quality teams of mixed regions. You get promoted to Div 1 of your region. All teams that finish in the top 4 of each Div 1 go to the WEFA championship which is like the champions league. And there's also another cup as there was before.
You can't make transfers in the first season - you have to wait till the end of the season.
Hope this helps. I have so far played one match of ML but it seems there is a full ML translation patch coming out soon so more info will be available then.
