Everyone is sayin that FIFA is really shit. I have hardly ever played it but it is a good game. Its for people who enjoy differant types of football games, as is PES2. Just dont slag it off as much as you do..

andremc11, that was a perfect explanation of PES2 and FIFA, I could not agree more with it. PES2 is proper football, which puts the emphasis on gameplay, whereas FIFA is just EA showing off their skills with graphics and not taking the football part of it as seriously as PES2. The football part is the MOST important, and that is why we all like is so much more. All Im saying is that FIFA was like Bill Shankly, t/he/y laid the foundations for football games and PES2 is like Bob Paisley and perfected it.

Even PSM2, who said that PES2 was quite better than FIFA, said that FIFA was the best football game ever simply because what it has given us.

Now thats what I am trying to say

The amount of Fifa players is large.They could easily make a bigger statement than WE/PES players.I am also a FIfa fan but WE is more of a football simulation where Fifa is a graphic simulation.There is guy on the WEndetta team who also likes FIfa.And still makes pathces for WE 6 FE.:D ;)

I am very surprised with FIFA 2003, it's a massive improvement on 2002 and very enjoyable game to play, especially with other players, the graphics and sound are top standard. PES though is completely different, with PES2 you get a feel of total control. PES3 seems to have taken this and added FIFA's high quality graphics which should make it the perfect footie game for the current generation of consoles, even if the UK version is PS2 exclusive.

As far as I know they are conversions of PES1 and PES2.
Not sure though.
They do look a lot like ISS Pro Evo but that could be due to graphical restrictions.

FIFA 2003 is a big improvement from 2002 but the disappointing thing is not being able to edit and create players or edit the teams themselves, not that FIFA it needs much editing anyway it would just be nice to add yourself into the game.

In fifa the player stats are awful and there aren't enough of them.
You can't pick your team or formation before a match starts.

IMO, it doesn't look all that great either.

You can pick your team and formation before a match.FIFA 2003 looks way better than WE6 I or PES 2 on PS2.FIFA 2003 looks a little better than WE6 FE but not by a great deal.WE6 FE's animations are smoother than in FIFA 2003.:rolleyes: :mad:

They still look like mutated neanderthals sometimes. And it is far too easy. I want a football scoreline not a basketball one.

Fifa has always been about getting the ball into the box then you just press the shoot button and the ball flys into the goal you dont even have to aim.

PES on the ps1 is just an update of iss pro evo 2 it dosent have the added management features just the teams and slightly only slightly improved gameplay.

Slightly improved gameplay?! At least PES has gameplay. Let the kids have their EA eyecandy. Leave PES for the real football fans.

I don't get why people buy FIFA. I think it is the most overated game EVER. PES is way better and probably always will be.
