despite taking Newcastle to three successive league titles and a Champions League title I ended up despising my teammates, especially the defenders who seemed to go out of their way to get out of the way of crosses, free kicks, and through balls. just the mere mention of such names as Beye, Taylor, and Capaca is enough to set off the array of facial tics that I have developed over my three years at the club.

thankfully however, Chelsea have bought me in the January transfer window.

first game against my old club and it was time to work out the hatred that had built up inside of me. slide tackles from all angles results in a deserved yellow card, but also injury to that idiot Edgar and little Michael Owen who I cut in two. 1-0 to Chelsea as we chase down Newcastle, who without me are shaking like a an epileptic leaf, one that is destined to be crushed under the iron boot that now patrols the Blues central midfield. mwahahahahahahacoughhahaha

Always said I'd stick to my dear old league- and Masters Cup winning PSG until a major team came with a good offer and this was it.

Bye Paris :(

Never leave PSG. I did after 3 prolific years and have been waiting for their call for me to return ever since

Im doing a 2nd BAL now.My first was quite unsuccessful...I played AMF.Started with stoke 3 seasons, then I went to Sampdoria for 2 seasons.Played decent and moved to Roma for the rest of my career and retired at age 31.I played 521 matchs and scored 125 goals and 76 assists(would have been more if robinho could finish) had 17 yellow cards and no reds.International nothing special and won nothing with Japan(scored like 6 goals and a few assists). For anyone interested in stats my only reds were 99 DA and 99 DS.They started pretty high to begin, rest were high yellow/orange area.

Now..my second BAL I know where I went wrong so I hope to improve from last. Now playing CF(height is 193 and agility is 76) I'm in season 4, I started with Man city which was lucky and I'm already at Aresnal. About 40% of my goals come from this routine, I shot-keeper saves-corner-I go front post and score a header lol, funny thing is my header is only 72.I have a really good scoring record this time, with 59 goals in 70 games. And for those who give up, give it at least 5-6 seasons before you quit.

Update on my 2nd BAL, I'm now in season 12 and am age 29.Main stats are atm 93 attack,91 balance, 88 dribble acc, 94 Dribble speed,87 top speed, 89 accelaration, 92 shot accuracy,97 shot power,92 shot technique and technique of 97..agi still 76 and height 193cm. This BAL has proved far more success than my 1st. Although my player is unagile, he is a tank, really fast, good dribbling and perfect shooting. I've played 550 matchs and got 673 goals. Internationally won the World cup with Japan and was top scorer. Advice to people starting leave all your strenghts on 2 for 2-3 seasons then build the neccessary stats and I'd recommend CF as your position as I thaught it was 10 times better than AMF.

^They're the same sort of. Actually an SS will have more possession.
Mine is worse.
I made my player a WF, and left side only.
Every team plays me in the right wing not left wing.
Why is that?

Well i've officially moved down to amateur with Spurs.

I'm sort of enjoying it, but then i'm sort of not really.

I've scored in every game so far, and had at least one assist as well and while i enjoy that aspect of it, as much as I hate to say it, It's obviously not as challenging.

At least if I managed to score on regular level it actually meant something because i'd worked so bloody hard to do it !

I might move back up in the transfer window and see how it goes ..

^I am a WF and my agility is 86. How did you get it at 90?

hell if i know. I played the sout match on amateur, with a match length of 10 mins. I played out of position almost all the time, made 2 assists and scored 1 goal, made lots of passes and intercepts and almost never stopped running (high stamina, benefits of being a dmf or cmf :D) [thinking back on it, i did everything i wasn't supposed to]. I suspect it could just be down to luck though, or maybe nationality :p

Half a season at the springboard I call Lyon was enough because both Arsenal and AC Milan battled it out for my signature coming into the 4th season.

I chose Arsenal, since they have a younger and title winning capable squad.

Bye bye France, hello England. Finally time to battle it out with the best.

Although I'm afraid dear old Liverpool might be a force NOT to be reckoned with. How about these losses in the transfer windows from season 1 and onwards:

Out:
Steven Gerrard > Man City
Javier Mascherano > Espanyol
Xabi Alonso > Marseille
Ryan Babel > Torino

If I were Rafa at this point, I'd go "Dude, where's my midfield?"

I recently began playing BAL, again. It may have its faults, of which I have highlighted my fair share (and which I still stand by being a problem), but it is also highly addictive.

To update on how things have been going.

Bolton have strengthened, though, but we still lack a quality centre-back, and could do with a new striker, preferably a target man (as we play a 4-5-1). We really need another option up front, because when Elmander is out the ball doesn't stick when played up top. Davies can't cut it any longer, Riga is absolute crap, and Smolarek, although technically sound, lacks physical presence. In our favour we have options on the flanks, and a solid midfield, as well as a fantastic goal keeper in Coupet. And the defence have thus far managed to punch above their weight. I really can see Bolton push on once again, if Elmander remains fit and on form.

Spurs have a wicked side, although they did just lose Woodgate, Huddlestone, and Dos Santos. They have signed Silva, Rosicky, and Reina.

It's a difficult decision, because the grass may not be greener on the other side, as they say. I'm settled at Bolton and play a big part in the first team. And we may be able to go up another gear as a side.

I moved to Spurs, and I have just seen out what was my fourth season (my first with Spurs). I left Bolton with dismay as I enjoyed my two seasons there, but Spurs had European football (Champions League) and a much better squad who had broke into the top four. We finished 7th, which is a bit of a disapooint as the club finished 4th last season. And we made it to the Final Four in the D1 League Cup, narrowly losing out to Liverpool, the eventual winners.

Bolton finished 10th, one position higher than the previous season.

But now, going into my fifth season, I have a big decision to make. Manchester United have just put in an offer for my services. I'm not sure if it's the right time to make the move, but, the offer may never come, again.

These are my BAL starting stats. I figured I'd post them should others wish to compare what PES decided to bless us with upon creation. I'll post my current BAL stats come the end of this (my third) season.

I'm probably going to make the move to Manchester United, where I could happily see out my BAL career. I wish they'd came knocking a season or two later, though, as my stats would've been that much better, meaning more chance of performing, and remaining in the first team. But if they believe I'm ready now, then onwards and upwards! 4 and 14 are the squad numbers available, that I'd care for. I had 7 at Bolton, and 5 at Spurs.

Correction, Xabi Alonso went to Chelsea. Don't know if that's a good thing (or a logical thing, considering the rivalry).

Good development.
I think you should focus on the shooting.;)

I am still top scorer of serie A with Inter (2nd season). Now we began the Champions league. I think we already have enough points to qualify.
I scored 2 hat tricks this season also. 1 of them against Milan. :)

it sounds like you'll definetely get world and euro player of the year. i found that you really need to top assist an goal rankings in nearly all competitions in order to get a look in. thats the key

^The rating is what counts. I scored 73 goals in 3rd season (my old BAL) and I didn't get world player award.
