How to Patch WE8 - A Basic Guide on making a WE8 ISO & Patching & burning it

You will need the following tools and software:

DVD Decrypter: http://fileforum.betanews.com/download/1011845169/1
PPF O Matic: http://www.paradogs.com/download/pdx-pom3.zip

1) Firstly insert your WE8 DVD into your DVD-ROM drive & load up DVD Decrypter.
2) From the source dropdown, select your correct DVD-ROM Drive.
3) Next, click on MODE > ISO > READ. This is so that the program can read and then rip your WE8 into an .ISO format on your hard drive.
4) Then click on the DVD to Hard disk icon. This should then create an .ISO file.


Patching using PPF O Matic:

WE8 patching has begun but is at a preliminary stage with only translations and boot packs released.

5) Open up PPF O Matic and then select the location of your WE8 ISO
6) Locate the .PPF format patch you wish to apply and then click apply!

*Depending up on the size of the patch you apply, a message will appear shortly after you press the apply button telling you to burn!

8) Re-Open DVD Decrypter
9) Next, click on MODE > ISO > WRITE. This is so that the program can read and write your WE8 into a bootable DVD Image to play using a Modchip or via Swap Method
10) Click on the little folder ICON and locate your patched WE8 DVD Image
11) Insert a blank DVD-R and burn!

Sorry to be daft, but all of the forum threads I've read regarding patching WE8 are assumingly for PAL PS2s (no issue from JAP PAL to EUR PAL), but will it work with a NTSC PS2 and Swap Magic? (i live in the states, poor uncivilized bastards aren't getting WE8 until next year, something to do with yanks having no common sense or not liking football, or some rubbish)

[we went to see a bit of the Champions World series and some bastard asked if soccer was popular where i come from?! The bloody local American football team just built a 60,000 capacity stadium and can't sell a third of the tickets, Man Utd and Celtic Glasgow show up and there's standing room only:) ]

i downloaded the image file from bit torrent, aplyed the fernando patch...burn to a dvd with dvd decrypter and it works fine with swapmagic3.

I live in the USA and have a NTSC ps2 and an NTSC television. What I want to know is:
1) Will my television be able to play Pro Evolution Soccer 4 seeing as it's for PAL TV's? I was told by a game-tester friend of mine that a special TV is required to play PAL games that they test at his job (Vivendi Universal Games).

2) If yes, will it work on an older TV (one without the 3 color plug, RF screw-in thing instead)?

3) Will swap magic or some other relatively cheap alternative work for playing PES4?

No, I know you can play NTSC on PAL, but what about PAL on NTSC? I'm interested in playing PES4 on an NTSC system and (more importantly) an NTSC Television.
