ok thx to both who replied :)

ive had PES 2 since january and i think its great, if slightly flawed here and there with room for improvement. this is to anyone who has played both pes2 and we7. could you please tell me if the passing problem in PES2 where when you passed to a team mate running back towards his own goal the ball would go in the opposite direction has been fixed at all for we7? because this is what has annoyed me most about the series since i started playing it since pes1. thx :)

oh and are penalties still a case of pressing a direction and hoping the ball goes in with luck or is there some sort of skill to scoring from them? thx again :)

700mb, i'm wantin to get a slide card as it sounds easy to use and less trouble than chips, but i heard some rumour on this thread about it only acceptin 630mb discs and that cos of this it might not work for WE7 patched versions. can u re-assure me on this?

i have we7 and we6fe and use them both with the slide card. we6fe has an average bin size of 703mb. it works good for me.

Does depend on the game but I think it's slightly more the 630mbs, you would have to pack out the game and do some serious editing and regenerating before they stop booting on swap methods. As you are just playing the WE series it should be fine. It's just like cd-rw's and certain chipped ps2's :)

So u definately need a chipped PS2 to patch? And earlier sum 1 said "u need patching tools" can they define that a bit more?

No you don't need a chipped ps2 to play patched games. Slide card and Flip lid/top will both do the job.

Patching tools you can download, they are mostly free or you can get trials of some which you may or may not need depending on what you are actually modifying :)

And hmoeran, thanks for the info. Is it possible to copy them to keep backups in case something happens or are they 'pressed' disks?

I haven't tried I'm afraid, but i will give it a go and tell you the details in this thrad later on....
I have bought the filt-top...etc. and WE7 will this be enough to WE7 work????

Flip top + boot disk + WE7 is all you need to play it.
If the foreign games come out in black & white you need to get a better quality scart cable. That's it.

Don't worry about copying those disks - I was just curious what they looked like.
